RETIRED Safeway B&M Deals Thread - no off topic discussion

Sorry another noob question.

Are the J4U coupons considered MQ's or Safeway Q's?

Tried the Swiffer deal. There's a buy the starter kit, get the refill free (up to $9). The refills are on sale for $5.99 as a part of the B2Save$3 each promo. I should have walked out paying around $20, but totaled $40--and I can't figure out the stupid receipt!!!! I only bought Swiffer and 2 Reynolds foil.

The Qs required help at self check out for price, but I saw on other sites that there was some for who it sailed right through.

I really hate these stupid receipts. Its going to take some time to figure out what went wrong (I think the sale prices didn't ring up on the WetJet refills, even though it was advertised in the promo), and the Qs didn't all attach to the correct Swiffer products. There's a total on the receipt that I paid, but it doesn't show what was tax and the subtotal (and Swiffer is very taxable in my state). I'm planning on calling corp to complain--this crap has gone on for way too long with these "new" receipts.

Wow rolled my cats for the last time today!! What fun, what fun!! Had tons of stouffers coupons. I am stocked up!! Thanks Everybody!!

I used a $5 FF today at SCO,it never asks to insert the coupon so I just keep it,compared it with the new cat that printed and supposedly expires 4-7,but the bar codes and numbers below it are identical.I'm pretty sure my "expired" cat will still work, at least until 4/7/12.I'll try again tomorrow.

Tonight I was running to the store and wanted pizza, soo...I bought 2 digiorno dippin strips (marked $5 at my store but this store is notorious for old tags still being up)..rang up 5.49 each, paid the 10.98+tax OOP (wasnt worth it to me to argue the $5 price) and got the $5 FF cat and the $2.50/2 dipping strips cat. The surprise was that when I got to the car I was putting my cats away and realized she had handed me 2 FF cats! I did notice there was a cat hanging from the machine when she started scanning my items, but I figured it was an ad!

but I love those price mistakes...then the first item is free right? Or im just too used to Giant and SR

Just looked and apparently they do have a scan guarantee (1st item free, rest adjusted)..I wonder if it's worth it to go tomorrow and ask for a refund. I'm sure the tag will still be up, as they had tags up for the buy 4, get free milk promo (which ended 3/14)

My SW had signs up for an instore deal wyb
8 packs coke product + 1 nabisco product (select items, see flyer) = 4$
There is a TP out for the coke 8 packs and nabisco 1.50/1, you might even be able to use
a Nabisco Q depending on what you buy

For the people who are having problems with the Breyers Blast and Klondike e-coupons not deducting, e-mail the details to this address "Safeway On Facebook" Safeway.OnFacebook@safeway.com. I got a $5 credit after venting that these e-coupons are unreliable and did not deduct or deduct the correct amount.

Where did you look, anything official? I've only invoked it once, I think, but whenever I bring it up CS has never heard of it.

I would hand over the $25 q before all other qs, including the in-store qs. I have never had a problem doing it that way.

I did have a couple of those $25/50 pharmacy qs, and I used them on my $75 purchase and still received my $10 oyno cat.

Didn't see official stuff, only posts on blogs/forums so I did a little digging. Looks like Safeway's FB had a customer post from 2010 and they responded: "Our Scan Price Guarantee changed as of 6/01/2010. "Safeway's Promise To You" now states that if the price charged is higher than our lowest advertised price and our lowest advertised price is less than $5.00, we will give you the item free. If the price charged is higher than our lowest advertised price and the lowest advertised price for the item is $5.00 or more, we will sell the item at the lowest advertised price and give you a $5.00 Safeway gift card. Thank you for bringing this to our attention."

Since the tag is for $5, looks like I'll get a $5 Safeway GC. That works for me.

So starting tomorrow there is a $2 off mccormick in-ad coupon. Many of the mccormick spices are also buy 2 get 1 free. Any guess on how this will go? Will $2 be taken off all 3, or just on the two you are paying for??

It took the cat and printed another one. Then

Took the coupons and printed another one.

Then came back tonight and tried one (and was going to do two like it but since cat didn't print, didn't do 2nd xaction)

- $5 cat

took the Qs but didn't print a new CAT. The second transaction took place in express lane (there were no regular lanes open tonight. the earlier transaction did take place in regular lane).
