Problems printing Bricks coupons? First posted here: This may fix your problem! Just follow the instructions in this thread to alter the url to suit your browser. If you want to rep alanisrox69 (Derek), he posts often in the CVS threads.

Problems scanning Q's at SCO? First posted here:

Credit for this goes to Skibum - On the SCO at Safeway if your coupon doesnt scan you can manually input the numbers using the enter PLU function. Basically its the option where you would enter produce.

A coupon database is available at www.Families.com once you've registered there. Good resource for checking availability & location of coupons for specific items you're interested in. (Thx to errickson for the info!) Another great one is available at www.coupontom.com [http]. And the nice thing here, you don't have to register!

This thread has good info on what coupons are available, what insert they were in and the date.

Also keep in mind the Entertainment Book typically has money saving coupons for Safeway listed quarterly. And, if your store doesn't object, these coupons sometimes do not beep based on dates.

Coupon use at Safeway
Safeway usually issues store specific coupons via various formats...newspaper ads, mailers & emails. You can sign up for emails on their website.

Their coupons tend to scan fine at any store within their brand, even if the stores are not in the same area. For example, Tom Thumb coupons work at Randall's, and vice versa.

Their coupons also tend to scan fine at any store within their brand, even if the coupon says it's good only at a certain store. The best example of these are the ones issued when a store is remodeling or for a grand opening.

Usually, their coupons scan fine when you are using two different types of their coupons on one product. For example, $1 off Tide from a newspaper ad and $2 off Tide from some other source. This only works when the two coupons are obviously different (check the codes). I am not sure if it would work if you were only buying one item and trying to use two store coupons. I've never had a reason to test that.

Their coupons can be used in conjunction with manufacturers coupons, even if that causes an overage, although they won't pay you to take products out of the store! laugh out loud

Some stores don't accept internet printable coupons, there is a corporate policy on what coupons they take, and some stores follow this policy to the nth degree. If you get to one of these stores, try the store down the street, it is probably much more coupon friendly.

Manufacturer coupons for free or bogo items tend to attempt to give you credit for the price of the item without the card discount, but they usually beep for the cashier to approve the coupon.

Self Checkout lanes (SCOs) are a great way to get out of the store quickly. You can use your coupons except all BOGO, FREE and coupons over $3.00 (may be $2) require cashier intervention. This can be a hassle if you have very many of these type of coupons. You will also have trouble if you're buying a clearanced product that has the % off tag that has to be scanned.

Stores in different areas have different promotional deals regarding the doubling and/or tripling of coupons. If you see someone commenting on it here, you need to check what your local store does.

And while coupons may scan fine, the cashier you're dealing with can make any of the above YMMV. Smilie

Yeah, I can confirm it takes 10% off from $2.99 Smilie
But I don't think the ibotta for Special K will work, because it's only 11.2oz and ibotta says 12+oz.

Argh! Oh well, back to the drawing board I guess Sadwalk

Still, I guess .81 each isn't TOO bad if you really want the cereal...

Decent deal on Seventh Generation 50z laundry detergent--it's part of the buy 2 save $3 promo. J4U coupons $2 off Seventh Generation, ON ONE (1) BOTTLE OF SEVENTH GENERATION 50 OZ. LIQUID LAUNDRY expires 1/15. I'm not sure when I clipped it. Makes each bottle $3.49. I also have Save 10% on Any Laundry Detergent, but that did not come off. Hope others have better luck!

Thanks! I have that Q clipped too, but would have missed this deal. The $2/1 Q came off on each detergent?

No, each bottle will be $3.49--better if the darn 10% laundry detergent would come off (if you have it and if it works)!

They also switched my $3/$10 for a $3/$15.

Not too happy about that, hopefully we get it back soon.

Frown

I had $3/$10 for many, many months and I did the deal alot. Then they changed it to $3/$15 for about 6 weeks or so and I only used the deal once, maybe twice. Then, last week, the $3/$10 was back in my account! So, there IS hope! Whether the fact that I didn't really use the $3/$15 made a difference or not, I don't know, but I DID load it every week. HTH!

Tai Pei Frozen meals are 5/$10. So...Buy 4 = $8.00
Use 4 x $1.00/1 TPQ (don't remember where I got these)
or Use $1.00/1 IPQ (see printables thread)
Minus 4 x $.50 doubler (for those who still get doublers)
= 4/$2.00 or $.50 each.

Great price for me! There's also a BOGO Q in the printables thread, but using the BOGO Q with the $OFF Q has had mixed results in the past.
