Also, I'm still on the fence about this purchase. My store has 3 of these, someone tell me to go buy it. I have a 40" Sony Bravia now, only 1080i and I got a blu-ray media computer for xmas so I could use this tv... |

Not a bad deal. I wish I could find a local place (Sears, etc) that could price match since the closest Menards is ~ 100 miles for me.

Rebate
$200 is a merchandise credit vs cash. But not a big deal for many. I ended up going w sanmsung 8000 bundle yesterday but thought this tv looked good in local store. Tax adds around $100.

I bought this TV from Amazon.com on Black Friday week for $1200 and it is AMAZING!!!! The picture quality is fantastic!!! If you are considering it and can afford it go buy it. I have zero complaints about the TV

Update, Menards Also has an additional 11% Rebate for anything purchased between Jan 1 - 8th, and that is on top of the $200 rebate on the TV. That bumps the price down to $867.11

I went back to the store to buy it and they closed at 6 for New Years, I'll be kickin myself in the ass when I get to the store tomorrow morning and they are sold out. DOH!

My bro picked up one last night...I don't think he knew about the 11% rebate. Is that an automatic rebate or do you have to do something special?

No rain checks. First com, first served. Arrangements must be made for immediate pick up or delivery. Sorry, no pre-paids, no holding merchandise, no layaways, no prior sale price adjustments. Rebate does not extend to the special ordering of any normally stocked items. Not good with any other coupons or offers except MENARDS(R) coupons, MENARDS(R) rebates and manufacturers coupons. Pretty sure its B & M only. Menards website is limited at best, and the Home Theater stuff they have had in store seems to be a "seasonal" thing. |

The local Menards is planning to expand into an electronics section and they plan to carry Blu-Ray players, hdtvs, etc in the near future. This is not an online deal, as Menards website is stuck in 2001.
