The British packaging is much better than the US edition. The US edition does come with digital copies, but I never use them. The extra features are the same in both editions. In my opinion, the British set is better.

Does Amazon Prime apply for free shipping even from the UK to the US ?

Been waiting for Amazon.uk to drop their price on this. Was hoping they would drop it a little more. Hmmmmm...may hold out for $25 or lower, which will surely happen now that they have finally moved on their price.

Looks to me like the Bourne trilogy is $23 before shipping and the Matrix trilogy is the same price as BTTF:

EDIT: In reading online reviews, people tend to like the packaging and more complete extras on the US versions of the Matrix and Bourne better, but the UK version of BTTF. I think I'll just stick with BTTF.

Anybody have any idea how long it usually take for stuff to get shipped from the UK to the US?

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this one. $10 savings is really good.

I also believe this comes with a few extras (little collectible trinkets or something) that the US version doesn't

Well, they have had some serious issues with their shipments of late. Especially over the Holidays. Increased scrutiny of packages for safety reasons has also forced some packages to be shipped...literally...on ships. Which as you can imagine can take quite a bit longer. I ordered Planet Earth and Harry Potter box set blu-rays that shipped on Dec 2 but I never got them. Contacted them and they promptly shipped out the items again. I will probably end up with both sets, but am supposed to send one back if so (wink wink). I also ordered the Alien blu-ray box set and hope I get that in time for Christmas! Debating on this one.

The only difference I can see between the two sets is on the packaging.. the UK version doesn't say 25th Anniversary or have Doc on the cover with Marty.

Also, each disc has a picture of Marty on the UK version, whereas the US version is just a silver disc with the title on it

As for the shipping, I can attest to that. I ordered the Aliens Anthology, Bourne set, and Harry Potter set all on the same day. All stated delivery by the 20th of Decemeber. They weren't gifts for anyone, just for me so I wasn't worried about getting them before Xmas. I actually had completely forgotten about ordering these until about 4 days ago, the Aliens Anthology showed up. I still have not received the other two at all. So I contacted them about that and they supposedly shipped out the other two again. Hopefully they have fixed their shipping problems.
