Question for Gamers Regarding Steam vs Store purchased Games (like Team Fortress 2)
Need some help understanding if store purchased Team Fortress 2 can play with a TF2 Steam account (together in same session).
My older son has TF2 on Steam, and younger son wants to play also. This game is $20 on Steam, but still $10 at Walmart, Amazon, or Best Buy.
So if I buy the game from the store, can the two players both play in the same session (1 on Steam and 1 on anther PC)? Not sure how it would work or if not possible.
Younger son has separate Steam account also, but I'd rather save the $10 if possible!
