Epson Workforce 635 Wireless Printer - Officemax $79.99 after $50.00 Trade-in, less if you have a coupon, may be YMMV

1/9/11 printed ad has the Epson Workforce 635 wireless all-in-one printer on sale for $129.99, down from regular $199.99, plus ad states that it qualifies for an additional $50 trade-in allowance because the regular price is $199.99.

Similar deal to what was out there for the Workforce 610 awhile ago only a little more expensive, but you get a real 250 sheet paper tray, automatic double-sided printing and can handle letter and legal size paper.

SKU number is 2238-5456.

Shows at $159.99 online, but $129.99 in store-ad.

Picked one up this morning. $50 trade-in allowance wouldn't scan, probably because the price rang up as $129.99 but they did a manual override, so could be YMMV depending on location.

i would never buy another fixed print head printer ever again. once the print head clogs up the whole printer is trash.

Speed and quality are great. if I didn't already own the 610 I'd jump on the 635 to get the added features. Nice find.

how do I know which printers are fixed print head. I need a new printer for a business and I have had terrible luck with HP's(6500 wireless 2 sep. printers) getting clogged ( i have found a way to clean it and getting working for a while than its back to blank pages.) My kodak is just junky, slow and when the color catridges are empty you cant print b & W)

Been looking all last week and need something that has cheap ink (make 1500 copies a month or more)

anybody with input would be awesome.

OM Raised the "Retail Price" During this Sale

I am very disappointed in OfficeMax. During this sale they raised the "Retail Price" of this printer on their website to $229.99. This is above the "Retail Price" on Epson's own site--$199.99. It doesn't seem right to offer these "deals" and then jack up the price to compensate. Especially when that price doesn't even correspond with the manufacturer's own Retail Price. It seems unethical. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
