Only takes about an hour to get used to. Now, I can't watch TV on anything smaller. One of the better purchases I have ever made. Don't let the LCD/Plasma honks change your minds, people. Read the reviews.

dlp has always been the ugly little sister.

i had a 720p hd dlp projector and loved it.

dlp to most will seem like a gimmick.

i've been eyeing this TV for about 6 months now. I want it so bad lol.

concerns: 1) it's big enough where I think it will dominate my living room. 2) i've got a 50" 720p plasma, do I really need to drop $1100 on another TV? of course not, but I WANT IT Smilie

Dell is horrible to deal with. Make sure your order goes through - you do not, at any time, want to ever have to deal with their CS - legendary horrible.
I am watching this TV right now - huge, nice picture, colors not as vibrant as the LCD it replaced, but still very nice.

Thanks, been watching this one. Unfortunately just measured and it's one inch too wide! Ugh, now waiting for the 65" version to drop. Smilie

That was quick when I posted it, it was still available. Still I would check later as usually if it still shows up when you search for it then it might be that someone was going to buy it but changed their mind. That's what I've seen. Still it's only one left.

Great deal, but I'm waiting for <$1000 to jump on one. Also, I'm not one to usually get the extended warranty, but I've known a couple people who had this tv and both of them had to have the light engine replaced while under warranty.
