I sent them the cut out UPC from the printer along with everything else they had asked. It says "Program Violation" on the website so i called them and was informed that i had not included the UPC !!! I am 100 % sure that i sent the UPC. Absolutely no doubt. And now they are refusing to honor the mail in rebate as i don't have the original UPC even though i offered to mail in the photocopies etc...

Has anyone else experienced this issue with the recent T2i/T3i deals that has come up?
I peeled off my UPC and am afraid I won't get back $800 in rebates. Best Slickdeals so far:
Dell W2600 26" LCD TV = Free (Aug 05') | Samsung 21" LCD = -$65 (Aug 06') | Lenovo IdeaPadZ560 = $289 (June 11') |

After seeing this thread I think I have a guess as to why they rejected my P23-DH Desk Calculator rebates. They claim there were no UPC's included in my 2 $10 submissions. I am 110% sure there were, regardless of what they claim. I have copies of the forms with UPCs before I sent them, but since they don't accept photocopies of UPCs those are of no use now. So I am guessing the problem was that I cut them out with a knife, but I only removed the UPC with the top layer of the cardboard, not 100% of the way through. From what I am reading, I am guessing that was enough for them to say it wasn't a real UPC code
![]() They say if I fax them a copy of the front page of the manual they can valid my rebates. I did that, but not feeling especially hopeful. All the calculator came with is an instruction pamphlet. |

Its wierd but with every single rebate ive done they have never made me jump through hoops to get an invalidated rebate , validated. Every person answering the phone has the ability to login to your rebate and using a pull down menu change it to valid (even after it was previously invalidated). Alot of the time its a clerical error and they can fix it if your nice to them on the phone.

It's not an error. They'll pocket the declined claims and will payout anyone that (rightfully) fights for their rebate claims I'm awaiting my Canon rebate too. Never again. |

"Original “Proof of Purchase” 12-Digit Bar codes cut from BOTH the PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II box and the Canon Digital SLR Camera box, leaving a hole in each box. We must receive “Proof of Purchase” with cardboard intact. (Do not peel off “Proof of Purchase” sticker)."Not sure how enforcing the offer's terms is scamming. |

Which is the UPC for the Canon DSLR box? http://i.imgur.com/MBys8.jpg I am confused. Thanks a lot.

I have done this and similar Canon Pixma Bundle rebates six times and have received the correct rebate payout six times. If you can not be bothered to follow the terms of the offer then you should not expect to receive the rebate payout. |

Quick question
I have recently bought a T3 camera, but did not bundle the printer. If I went online and bought the "bought" another camera, and printer. Printed the order "receipt", then canceled the Camera. Then when I received the pinter, cut out the UPC from the Printer, and the Camera I already have, I would be able to get the rebate. I guess what I am really asking is... Does the rebate company have access to your sales history? Will they be able to check with Amazon, or whoever to see if you really bought the items. |
