How about sharing all the great deals we get at shoprite here? Let's just keep this one thread until we get "bigger". Please, post your best deals.

WIKI should have all the weekly deals and we'll keep this thread just one. All are encouraged to add any coupons/deals to such. Happy Shopping!!!

Very nice thing you are doing.
You need to post more info on your location. I'm guessing you are in Connecticut?
Sorry, yes Connecticut.
I thought I had added that to my profile... now I have!

The library is at 200 North Main St in Wallingford, CT

For those of you with kids, it's a wonderful library - it was expanded a couple of years ago; this is the third year the new Children's area has been open. They who movies (or Blue-Ray) in the community room on Friday nights, usually something that has just been released to DVD/Blue-Ray. I'm usually willing to wait rather than pay movie-theater prices, and this is a nice compromise. - almost movie theater experience, without the cost.

Thanks for the preview.

I don't think the Luigis is included in the cat deal. I do wonder though if the cat will work on shelf prices as I know in the past some cat deals at SR have. If it does then it would be an awesome deal with the Drumstick and Dibs coupons even though we would only have one day to use them since they expire Sunday.

If they do work on shelf prices then we only need to buy 4 boxes of the Drumstick since I believe shelf price is over $3 and after cpn and cat it would all be free.
For the Dibs, shelf price is $3.99 so you can buy 3 boxes and 1 of the Haagen Daz/Edys single serve and pay $3 for all them.
The Edy's grand ice cream are $4.49 shelf price so you can buy 3 and pay only $1.97 after cat. There is also a $1/2 cpn available so it would make it .97 for all three.
There is also Skinny cow IP cpn but I didn't see them listed on sale.

In my experience, the cat deals do work on shelf price, with one exception (and unfortunately it can be a big one when it makes you lose out.

Somethings I've noticed more at Shoprite and the other area stores (Stop and Shop, and formerly Shaws). Sometimes there are 3 prices: Shelf Price (or regular price any day), Sale Price (with or without card), and Card Price (a little bit better than the sale price). So for instance, they will have An item with a regular price of $3.99, on sale for $2.49, and an extra .50 off with the card, bringing the card price down to $1.99

In this case, only $2.49 counts toward the catalina, not the full $3.99

Just something to watch out for - it's almost caught me several times (and did catch me once). As much as they like to advertise that the cats print based on sale prices, I don't think really can, at least not without significant programming. The cats are supposed to print whether you have a card or not, so they go on the regular price. Otherwise too many people would "forget" their card, and get the cat, then ask CS to refund the difference (which conveniently prints at the bottom of the SR receipts - you would have saved $x.xx if you had used our card...

I wanted to see if the "shelf price" would work for the Edys today. "Shelf price" was $4.19, "sale price" was $3.19 and "price with card" was $1.99. I bought 3 and did not get the CAT. I expect if I purchased one more I would have but that's for another trip. No big deal as 1.99 is an OK ice cream price for me. HTH

The ice cream cat deal works on sale price. I tried it the other day and bought the following:
(4) Nestle Drumsticks $2.39 sale price, $1.99 with price plus card
(2) Skinny cow cups $1 sale price w/ or w/o price plus card, $1.49 shelf price
Total Shelf/Sale price $12.54
Total cost using price plus card: $9.96
Used (4) $1 off Drumstick (expired now) and (2) Skinny cow .50 IP.
Paid $3.96 and got the $4 cat.

Yes, I believe they are included in the cat deal because it does say any size drumsticks and the lil drums box do say drumsticks on it. The bad news is they are not on sale and i believe regular price is $5.99 a box of 10ct.

If you have an Acme or A&P nearby, they have the same cat deal and it is based on shelf price and the lil drums are on sale at both stores.
At Acme they are on sale for 2/$8 and shelf is over $5. So buy 2 boxes and throw in 1 skinny cow cup@$1.25 to get over $12 and use .50IP skinny cow thats still available and it comes out to a little over $2/box after $4 cat.
At A&P they are on sale for $4.49 ea. and I believe shelf is over $6. So buy 2 boxes and it comes out to $2.49/box after $4 cat and no coupons.
There was an $1 IP for lil drums but i dont know if its still available as I couldnt find it anymore.

Yesterdays News cat litter is half price this week. I paid $6 and change for this last week. Go to yesterdaysnews.com and register to print a Q for $1.50 off. Bricks Q, you can print two. No ad before or after the Q.

I actually use this for the guinea pig and rabbit.

Shoprite is having a 4 day special on their ribs for $1.99/lb. I picked up two cryovacs (two separate trips), each cryovac weighed about 11lbs. Inside the store circular (Monmoth County), there is a coupon for $1.00 (suppose to bring it from $2.49 to $1.49 a lb). It still works when the ribs are marked at $1.99 lb and brings price down to $.99/lb. In cryovac, ribs freeze great.

BTW, I was in Wallingford the other day and picked up thier grand opening circular, used all their coupons and also brought down a boneless loin from $1.99 lb to $.99 lb. I need to be there again on Tuesday, I hope they have circular coupons that I can use in Jersey again.
