UPDATED 10/11/2014: Please refer to wiki for additional sites that can save you money. Also please add to the wiki if you found a cheaper price somewhere.

This thread is all about finding the lowest priced medicines for our pets. It is going on 8 years now, so there is a lot of info here that has been shared. I encourage you to read the wiki, add to the wiki, and share with others. We are all after the same thing here...and that is taking care of our 4 legged family members and their health needs. Of course, since we are on SlickDeals, we want the LOWEST price!!

This is the site where I have found to have the lowest prices on pet meds. http://www.bestvaluepetsupplies.com/.

$5.00 Coupon for 2014 - bestvalue5

I have included the original post (below) from May of 2006, for informational and historical purposes only.

*******************************************************************************************************************************
Original post from May, 2006:

Thought I would share with fellow SD'ers where I have been getting my flea and heartworm products for years. This is by far the least expensive place for pet medications. I thought about it when I saw another post for flea treatment. The shipping is back up to $4.99 and they are out of Australia. Great service. I have always been pleased and have referred many of my friends to them. I hope that many of you find it helpful.

I thought I would add in here that you DO NOT NEED an Rx for any of the products sold on this site. (i.e., Heartworm, Revolution, etc...) As always, you should still take your animal in for yearly check ups. And of course, yes, you can always "try" asking your vet to price match. What do you have to lose? (please do not take any offense vets or vet techs....we are just trying to save $$ here.)

Thanks... Was about to post it.. Found it on this thread a few pages back.. Coupon worked perfectly... Brought my total for 6 months of Panoramis aka Trifexis for 4 dogs of 3 different sizes to $257 or $64 per dog... That is $73 cheaper then the lowest price I had found... I just hope I can post in the next couple of weeks that I have receive my order...

Thanks a lot ASDFSDF for all the info...hug
Update: Although I didn't receive a email saying my order had shipped.. I checked my order today and it seems it shipped today... Got a New Zealand tracking number with tomorrows date as the ship date(They are ahead by about a day).... Guess I'll take a look at it next week and see where it's at by then...

Final Update: Although the tracking info hasn't change online since it was shipped... I got a pick up package from post office notice today... Went and picked it up... The lady at the Post Office asked for my ID and took it back with her to go get it... Could be because when I registered to order I only use my partial First name & the first letter of my last name... Bet the Post Office clerk made a photo copy of my ID... She seem like she couldn't understand why I had received a package from New Zealand... Specially with the way the Attention to was written XX. X.

So to recap... I ordered on 04/13/12 & it shipped 04/17/12 & I received it today 05/02/12... Other then the Post Office now being suspicious about my NZ package... Everything turned out perfectly... So it took less then 3 weeks to come in...

Got to say I recommend anybody that want's to save around $20 (In my case I save $80 for 6 months x4 boxes with a expiration date of 06/2013) from the next lowest price online for Trifexis.... http://www.bestvaluepetsupplies.com is a no brainer... Just make sure u pay with PayPal...

I purchased K9 Advantix from budgetpetcare and the applicator tubes do not contain the WARNING Keep out of reach of children. Also the weight is in KG only not in LBS. Also the box lists the address for Bayer as Newberry, Berkshire or Dublin. I thought it would list the address as US. Is this legit or a fake product? The instructions and box are written in English. TIA

I just received my order a couple weeks later. I bought heartgard and frontline for my three big dogs for a year, around $500 would have cost at least $1500 from the vet.

For anyone one the fence on buying Stronghold from an online pet pharma (vs Revolution - both by Pfizer, same formulations)... this is less than scientific, but I have compared both the boxes and all inserts side by side.. and I can't really find any obvious clues as to whether the Stronghold stuff is counterfeit.. the boxes and labeling are sufficiently different, so it's hard to make an exacting study...

so the Stronghold packets are either really high quality counterfeit's.. or the real deal

I'm still not 100% since most of these UK/Australian pet pharmas seem to have a chinese connection

Update: I received my heartguard today from bestvaluepetsupplies. Everything looks good, expiration date 4/2014, packaged well... boxes are sealed and says product was made in Georgia... seems kind of backwards to buy something in Australia that was made in GA

I have 2 individual sealed packages of Promeris for medium sized dogs. (22-55 lbs) I no longer need this size because my dog got larger and I now give him Trifexis. I can ship it to you (at a SD price!!) if it is the size you need. Let me know.

My vet recommended this product at the time when my dog had mange. It worked well to give him flea protection. It has a strong odor though, I warn you.

I used 1800petmeds today and pricematched them to allvetmed.com for AdvantageMutli, and they were able to give me the 5% off coupon for allvetmed.com website.

Save 5% for orders over $100 use code: allvetmedsave-5
Save 7% for orders over $150 use code: allvetmedsave-7

For some reason on the allvetmed website it takes off $ amount and not % amount, but 1800petmeds gave me the %.
