I'm thinking about getting in on this deal (my wife needs a new laptop too). This looks pretty slick to me. I've mostly seen laptops with these features (4gb RAM, Phenom II) for north of $600. Is there something I'm missing that this isn't getting any love? Might be able to leverage some Discover CB to sweeten it.
Thanks for the heads up on this OP! |

for $450? at least a little above a warn deal IMHO. Slickdeals is known to be bipolar though- AT TIMES. take for example this Samsung 58" 1080p plasma. I posted on the 14th,got a NEGATIVE vote for a while, then a couple ppl came to their senses and boosted it to a 0 rating. 10 replies. four days later the EXACT TV gets posted - exact deal (tigerdirect and circuit city are the same company) and it has +9 rating and 83 comments? Its funny how many times this has happened to deals ive spent time posting. sorry for the rant, slickdeals is usually great in picking out the good deals from the bad, but these incongruities in judgment, bias based off brand/store preference, etc, sever the reliability of this voting system. Oh well, its the internet buy this laptop

i3 370m - 2,219 Phenome II N660 - 1,973 I bought an MSI with the i3 370 just last month, but now im thinking about throwing this on Ebay and gettiing the HP, more reliable brand, definitely will be built better, and the HP has a dedicated graphics card. |
