Help! Need some PC game recommendations!!
I just finished writing and submitting a couple of articles, and have some downtime. (well, as much downtime as you can have while still taking care of kids, changing diapers, fixing a couple of projects around the house, and helping with homework) In any case, I'm going to allow myself the luxury of really getting addicted to a game for the first time in a couple of years.
Some games that I've really enjoyed over the years:
Master of Magic - my all time favorite game overall
Lords of Magic
Oasis
Panzer General
Magic & Mayhem - great story, grimoire, and excellent puzzles & strategy
Heroes of Might & Magic (& the earlier King's Bounty on my Genesis)
Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic
Plantasia
Strategic Command - all time favorite hex based strategy game
Starcraft
Betrayal at Krondor - all time favorite rpg
Dungeon Hack
FATE
Blokus
Some that I've hated with a passion:
Diablo (extremely repetitive hack and slash, got bored within 2 hours)
Wizardry VI (got sick of having to draw my own maps continually)
I haven't played a good RPG or fantasy type game in ages, so I'm hoping someone can suggest one. I prefer the games that are easy to get into, and ever so slowly become more difficult over many levels, with good AI. Thanks!
