Last Edited by mysticprincess January 25, 2011 at 08:05 PM
I've been finding a lot of beer rebates and beer-company sponsored MIRs (mail in rebates) and coupon tearpads in my local grocery stores (and some in drugstores), so I figured we could have a thread to give everybody the heads up about these various promotions.

I've been doing a bunch of these beer rebates lately, and I just deposited $20 worth of checks into my bank account last week from these rebates.

Please indicate which state you found the rebate, coupon, winetag, etc in, if alcohol purchase is required, which state(s) the promotion is valid in, which store it was found in, expiration date, and any other important information. If you have extras to trade or RAOK, please mention that in your post and PM each other to keep from cluttering up the thread.

Each alcohol-related promotion requires that the bearer be 21 years of age or older.

ETA- Thanks SheySaves for the suggestion to trade all MIR forms here. Please discuss trades via PM and not in the thread to keep it uncluttered. Please edit your post once you run out of the forms/coupons you have to trade. Thank you. Smilie

Just a heads-up on this one: the receipt calls for UPCs on all items. I called and that was confirmed; so if you're planning to do what I did, buy mozzarella cheese, be prepared to cut the packages to get the UPCs to send in. Mad

I'm new to NBPR and I have a few questions:

1. Do everything have to be purchased in one transaction?

2. Do coupons factor into the total?

3. Where do you find these in NY? I never saw any or maybe I just need to go into the beer isle lmao

4. Can I spread my total towards my rebates over days?

1. Do everything have to be purchased in one transaction?
This varies by vendor, and the requirements will be listed on the form. Heineken typically requires all purchases at least on the same day. Some rebates that are based on a market basket purchase require the entire amount on one receipt. Most Bud rebates state that you may submit "receipt(s)" so you can use multiple purchases within the required time period.

2. Do coupons factor into the total?
For most rebates, you may use coupons and submit for the original amount prior to the coupon reduction. Most notable exceptions are the market basket purchases, where your subtotal (before taxes) must meet the minimum requirement. But, again, read the details of each form to be sure.

3. Where do you find these in NY? I never saw any or maybe I just need to go into the beer isle lmao Yep, you need to go into the beer aisle! That's where most are located, although m stores have occasionally had them elsewhere. Not all stores get them. Not all locations of stores get them. I've found some at grocery stores, some at CVS and some at RA. Once I saw the beer delivery guy at the grocery store and asked him (very nicely) why that store hadn't gotten any recently, and he went out into his truck and brought in 2 pads. Don't be afraid to ask!

4. Can I spread my total towards my rebates over days? I think I answered this in #1, but if not, please ask again.

Last year there was a rebate from Pyramid Beer that you were able to do up to six (6) times per address, it was printable.

I believe there is a printable one for apples right now.
