Thread Details

Last Edited by mysticprincess January 25, 2011 at 07:05 PM
I've been finding a lot of beer rebates and beer-company sponsored MIRs (mail in rebates) and coupon tearpads in my local grocery stores (and some in drugstores), so I figured we could have a thread to give everybody the heads up about these various promotions.

I've been doing a bunch of these beer rebates lately, and I just deposited $20 worth of checks into my bank account last week from these rebates.

Please indicate which state you found the rebate, coupon, winetag, etc in, if alcohol purchase is required, which state(s) the promotion is valid in, which store it was found in, expiration date, and any other important information. If you have extras to trade or RAOK, please mention that in your post and PM each other to keep from cluttering up the thread.

Each alcohol-related promotion requires that the bearer be 21 years of age or older.

ETA- Thanks SheySaves for the suggestion to trade all MIR forms here. Please discuss trades via PM and not in the thread to keep it uncluttered. Please edit your post once you run out of the forms/coupons you have to trade. Thank you. Smilie

This thread is for TRADING REBATES ONLY as they pertain to Drugstore (DS) or Grocery Store shopping.

In other words, no Hertz Rental Car q's because you can't rent a car at the DS or Grocery store. No gift card trading nor stamp trading nor code trading etc... This thread is meant for rebates (alcohol/grocery/items needed to fulfill) only.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*RULES FOR THE DS/GROCERY REBATE ONLY
TRADING THREAD*

( REBATES ONLY, NO GIFT CARDS, STAMPS, NOR CODES ALLOWED)

**SPECIAL NOTE**
Please politely remind those that want to trade gift cards and/or other things (below $5.00) to use the Official Trading Thread.

Users have the right to trade coupons in either subforum without hassle.

GIFT CARDS WILL NOT ALLOWED TO BE TRADED IN THIS THREAD. THIS IS FOR DRUG STORE AND/OR GROCERY STORE REBATES ONLY.

The trading of all other coupons (i.e. xx% off Hertz Rent-a-Car) and gift cards shall be continued to be done at the Official Trading Thread in the Freebies Subforum.

** The Official List of Rules **

1. If there is a problem with your trade, or the person you are trading with you need to work it out on your own and in PRIVATE. Moderators will not be getting involved.

2. NO GIFT CARDS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR TRADE IN THIS THREAD.

3. Keep the chit chat to a very low minimum, so it does not clutter the board!

4. PLEASE edit your original post when what you were offering for trade is gone (just GONE is fine!)

5. Do NOT offer money of any kind! It's a self promotion for personal gain (monetary gain), and it's not allowed! Money cannot exchange hands between SD members. This is includes PMs, posts, or any other forms of communication on SD!

6. You cannot ask for money/Pay Pal in "exchange". That is selling, and is not allowed here. Same for referrals! You cannot have people take part in referrals as part of your “trade”.

7. There will be no discussing about bad traders or even the hint of discussing about bad traders. This does nothing more than to cause the threads here to go off topic and cause a lot of drama.

8. You cannot negatively bash a “bad trader” in your signature, or anywhere else on Slickdeals.net. This is considered a personal attack and/or harassment.

9. You can only “bump” your trade list once in a 24hr period.

10. Trading stamps is not allowed!

Have - Miller Lite (NBPR) save $8 on the purchase of 2 - 12" or larger Digiorno Pizzas. Valid only in MN, ND, UT, or WV. Purchase must occur between 1/1/11 and 2/6/11. No UPCs needed - just the receipt with the price circled. Must be postmarked by 2/21/11.

Would love a receipt to go with my forms - I'm gluten free so I don't do Digiorno Pizza. Or stamps or coupons for gluten free items.

States are AL,AR,HI,KY,ME,MN,MO,NC,NY,UT,VA,WV .

I would like to trade for three stamps each and one to send or make offers.
I gotta ask: does it have any other qualifications listed? Like...how much of the $100 has to be produce? Not very clear, at least to me. Anyone want to weigh in with their opinion?

Usually these Budweiser and Miller/Coors rebates are very forgiving. I had 2 bags of salad on the receipt I sent in for this offer.

I have not yet had a Bud or Coors rebate denied.

Edited to add- I see you are in VA. There is another Miller $15 off $100 rebate out right now that is only Valid in VA. I have seen it everywhere in the last week ~ Food Lion, Farm Fresh, etc. It expires 2/6/11. Offer #102095

Yea, my crappy stores don't have rebates very often. I have 2 Blooms and one Farm Fresh nearby. I usually buy them off ebay if they are worth it.

Sorry to post twice. I was wondering if anyone knows if these purchase have to be on ONE receipt, or if it can be from multiple purchases? Any idea was "fresh and hot food selections" means?

My general rule is if it is "fresh/hot" to you submit it, if you could argue that it qualifies, you will probably get it!

I have coors and miller rebates that each state purchase $100 of groceries and a 12 pack and get a $25 rebate. Does anyone know how these type handle coupons? Do I need to be at $100 before or after coupons?

I have extras of these to trade if anyone is interested. Purchase dates are 2/7-2/28 and it states receipt(s) on form so multiple receipts accepted.

ETA: valid in AK, AZ, CA, CO, GA, ID, IL, KS, MI, MS, MT, NE, NM, NV, OH, OR, SC, TN, WA, WY

When the rebate is something like 'buy $15 worth of chicken/beef' I don't worry about how much I actually paid, I just circle the selling price of each individual item, and I've never had a problem - I figure they are looking for specific items not what you ended up paying at the end of your receipt. When it's one of the 'total basket' type purchases, sometimes I'll take a chance and circle each individual item on the receipt that qualifies (if I paid less than the stated amount), OR I will use Harris Teeter's Express Lane to order and pick up my groceries - that way I get a receipt that shows a really large amount, but then I hand them my coupons and they give a cash refund for the coupons that would have applied to my order. So my receipt might show $100 worth of purchases but then they hand me back my coupon money. That way I don't have to worry about how the rebate company is going to interpret my receipt, b/c my receipt clearly shows me paying $100 for my groceries (even though I get a coupon refund).

Also, it would be helpful if you mention what states your form is valid in.

I'm confused. So say you paid $5.00 for beef and $6.00 (I'll use round figures), you'd just circle that and not reach the $15? Or are you talking about coupons making a difference?
