Opinions on Philips 40" 1080p 120Hz tv?
Hubby and I are looking to purchase a new tv. We found this [amazon.com] one that seems really nice, but to be honest, we're just leaving the dark ages - it will be our first HDTV.
Mainly it will be used for watching football. More specifically, the Packers.
We have a Wii and he's talked about a PS3, but we're not serious gamers. We don't have HD programming right now (since we didn't have an HDTV) but will be adding it shortly.
It's also on sale this week at Target for $599. Not sure if it's worth the $40 to not go through the hassle of shipping.
Could I get some feedback about the tv?
