I installed one in a Fujitsu T900 Win 7 64 bit on 12/13/2010. Last week it blue screened, then would boot. THen it is unbootable. Drive is accessible to recover data but is non bootable.

Definitely must be a hit-or-miss thing with this drive then. I installed one from the Amazon deal into my wife's MacBook Pro and it works VERY well. Very snappy on boot and once it "learns" your patterns of usage, very notable improvement in performance in day-to-day activities. Fast and quiet in my wife's Apple. Thumbs up from me!

I'm pretty sure not all drives are 100% perfect.. send it in and if it happens 2-3 times in a row, then maybe you can say something is wrong with the drive.

DeanHosh which firmware did you have - the new one SD24?

I'm in for one thanks, I already downloaded SD24 firmware to get ready to flash as soon as I get it. I'm also going to keep my existing drive aside for a couple months before I clear it out to reuse it in case this thing flakes out so I don't have to reinstall everything again. I have good luck with drives though only had one go bad on me since my first PC. If issues that plague this drive aren't fixed in this firmware I'm confident it will be fixed eventually as I was one of those who got the 1.5TB drives when they first came out that wouldn't format past 73% and firmware eventually fixed that.
