so i just wasted gas hoping to get lucky. not a single one on the shelf! the cashier wouldnt even give me a raincheck . she said she doesnt know if they carry it so she cant give me a raincheck. i told her there was a tag, but it was all gone...she continued to give me a load of bull so i walked....grrrr

I'm sorry you wasted gas. But what's up with not giving you the raincheck? I've never had CVS give me trouble with a raincheck (except for the fact that most cashiers don't seem to know how to do fill it in! :-) ) Do you think it would be worth calling a manager there this week so they could do it for you?

If I wasnt going back in town later this week, I'd be really peeved. Since I have to go back in tomorrow, I'll just get one then.

This chick had no clue and was trying to show me how much she knew - or lack there of...I even mentioned to her, well if you don't carry it, then the raincheck won't help me anyways so why don't you write one in case you do carry it??? She said she can't write a raincheck for items they don't carry - I had to bite my tongue to keep from asking, "Why, is your pen broke?" (cuz I had a teacher once that whenever we used the word "can't" she would say something sarcastic since can't means physically or mentally UNABLE to do something), but I was a good little couponer, kept my mouth shut, and just walked....Best to just deal with my Ninja cashier tomorrow.

I'm embarrassed to say I had a RA dream last night In it a manager was telling me he didn't want me shopping in his store (or something like that). Now I've never had a run in w/ this manager but he doesn't seem happy when he sees me so I avoid his store anyway. I have a theory-- in stores where the manager is stressed the cashiers are stressed and less friendly. In stores where manager is less stress and friendlier the cashiers are as well. What do you all think?

Trying to do my rite aid shopping list and just had a few questions! I am still fairly new to RA. So I know barilla is buy 4 for $5 get 4 $1 back and the same is the same for hunts? The hormel compleats are 1.99 get $2 back (I think) and does anyone know if there is a limit on the motrin or tylenol precise?

People are just :lame: lol I did post that i'd not want info on clearanced pillow pets in wiki. But the few stores i checked they're full price. I was never for "recaps" and i dont read them, and im not going to volunteer doing them maybe it is just me, but RA threads are getting more crazy every week.

I didn't read the recaps at first but I've found I kinda like them now for coupon links that don't make it to the wiki. Pillow pets r full price at my stores too so I'm sure it was a error and would cause drama at stores if in wiki.

Some things are nice not in wiki so S&Gers don't easily get info but at others times when I'm busy it stinks when i miss something bc I'm too busy to read every post

Carla and I are planning another meet up lunch. We were thinking this coming Friday at ihop in Bedford like last time. Who's in? Maybe 11 or 12ish...let me know I'm hoping we can see home new faces....

I think much of what I read on the couponing threads are crazy. People honestly believe that if WE post something here that RA/CVS/WAGS/SHAWS and whoever else will stop the deals..... here's the thing - I agree to an extent, but if you don't stop EVERY OTHER couponing board out there AND all the mommy blogs, then it doesn't matter what SD does. i just keep my mouth shut for the most part though. All you need is 1 bad apple to spoil the bunch and I know there are tons of bad apples around (including lurkers). Whatever - I don't mind OT chatter because I scroll through pretty quickly, but I do like to see the deals and that's what I thought the wiki was for - so stuff should get posted IMO.

I dont mind OT either. its when ppl ask the same questions over and over that pisses me off. (but yall probably know that already ) Or when ppl dont even bother to read a post above theirs and ask questions. Just makes me wana them
