Qualvu Hot Beverage Study

They did mention it in the email they sent me. However, they were supposed to send an email yesterday so I could start the study and never did. Nor have they responded to my queries about it, so I assume I cannot participate at this point.

I received a message stating that it had been delayed until Feb 11th

ok I keep getting these webinar things from this company does that mean I am in there panel?..or do they just send you random crap?

No I was made aware of it. in the screener it asked if you were available on Feb 3rd - Feb 5th and the days of Feb 10 - Feb 12th.

In the phone call the girl asked me again if I was available to do the study those days.

Now of course it was delayed but when I called they did say the deadline for the first 9 is extended to Monday, and it might be a week or even 2 after that until they start the second one. It is the client lagging in this study getting started.

But yeah I was made aware in the screener, the call and my call to them.

This is friggen rediculos none of the videos and instructions help get the webcam working so im just videoing without being able to see my position in the window. I answered the first question and its taken 25 mins so far and still uploading and you cant go onto the next one without messing it up. Since they delayed this 2 days noone at qualvu is there answering the phone. I wasted an inordinate amount of time just trying to get this webcam crap thing even. If i have to do 9 questions for this first phase and then theres 2 phases its going to take 3hrs -4hrs just to complete the first phase.

They started this 2 days late and im getting a series of automated reminder calls to make sure i complete it

It seemed that this thing would take you an hour at the most. I have already wasted more than that to get the first part of the first assignment answered. I cant find back how much this was supposed to pay even.

I cant remember how much the incentive was

Are they seriously kidding during the phone call and in the email it says 8 questions. The way it looks now its 8 Assignments with over 6-7 questions per assignment and thats just for what they call phase 1 , who knows what phase 2 is. I was never told id have to go round the city videoing. My answers to Assignment 3 were not very long and still took over 2 hrs to upload and you cant progress or even see the next questions to plan until you have uploaded the previous ones.

The videos didnt even come close to explaining how to get the webcam portion working . A few years ago they sent out Logitech cams that did works as per the instructional videos these ones they sent out are garbage and dont even get detected correctly by Windows pcs.

I couldnt get them webcam part to work so i just videoed and of course you cant see your positioning using that since you dont get a preview window on your pc

There was zero support at the weekend on this. Since they expected you to do this at the weekend you would think they have left someone there to provide support and when today is this due because im going to have to wait until 11am my time before anyone will answer there.

This was taken out of the email they sent multiple times This will be a 3 day study with just 8 questions total. • Please submit your answers as soon as possible to make sure you are included in our study

i finally got to talk to someone. There will be a phase 2 which will have about the same number of questions as phase 1. I really felt sorry for the support guy the project team really messed up and he is the only one dealing with the mess, the other guy is conveniently on vacation. He agreed with most of my points that i made.Its was much longer than they had originally indicated with a huge time expense involved by the recipient. Eventhough i probably have got myself black listed from future projects I bailed on this. I was asked to be avaiable between Feb 3-5 to answer 8 questions and i did way beyond that. I guess you guys who do the 50 cent survey spot assignments for 2hrs of your time to then not qualify can go ahead and finish this. I am not venturing out buying coffee several times in this ice and snow for $2 an hour.

I wonder what they're going to do about the fact that I don't need buy coffee? I have plenty - just stocked up
