OK, so I have no idea if I got lucky or if it is a mistake on dish's part but since most people don't check their dish network account often I thought I would throw this out there (and I'm curious to see if anyone else received this).

On 1/27/2011, I mysteriously received 6 free PPV certificates for no reason. If you are a subscriber, it might be worth your time to see if you received anything.

1. Go to the Dish Network [dishnetwork.com] home page
2. Login (login ID is probably your full e-mail address if you can't remember)
3. Move your cursor over "My Account" and click on pay per view certificates.

Good luck!

I also received 6 ppv certificates on my account 1/28/11. I've only been with Dish Network since July 2010 and I have received 15 ppv certificates in that time period. 5 of those were for a referral but the rest were completely random.

I've had DISH for over 10 years. I have no ppv certificates on my account. I'm wondering how much you use ppv. We've only used it a handful of times over the years. There has to be something that triggers the free certificates.

I had never used PPV before I received 3 free ones on the recent SD that included Cinemax. Good to see that someone else received some credits!!!

I've never used ppv either. Actually, I did use it yesterday for the first time. Only because I had 5 of those ppv certificates that were going to expire.
