Got mine a few days ago as an upgrade to my HD4350. The HD4350 couldn't do 2 desktops at once (PC and HDTV) so I needed an upgrade. Good and stable so far, and it upped my WEI a little.

Don't even think about gaming with this. One might contemplate doing so with the GDDR5 version, but certain not with the DDR2 version.
But, for HTPC usage and so forth... it may be a good choice. Keep in mind that Tom's Hardware found that the 5750 is the minimum Radeon to achieve maximum image quality for video playback. |

Why DDR2 with128-bit? I thought GPU DDR2 usually has 64 bit?

1G version of GT 240 was $40 last November, and heat sink is not supposed to be good. Also EVGA rebate is supposed to be very slow. |

but if people want to play multiplayer games where hi res and hi FPS are a concern I wouldnt consider any 5550, period. Last edited by BIGFOOT_PI; 02-05-2011 at 05:59 PM.. |
