It seems to lack focus. Focus on your main ideas, and convey more emotion. You seemed a little too nonchalant about it. Some of the video just didn't make sense to me...if you are trying to say "I want to be on the biggest loser" and then show clips of meeting some famous guy...I just don't get it. There were also many grammatical errors. Let me know if you need me to clarify....just trying to help!

Thanks. Is that not good to show the part with Alton Brown. I was trying to show how important a role food plays in my life. Thanks. I plan on re-editing it. My husband offered to help with the grammar. I should have let him. I'm not that great at spelling or grammar. Thank you for the feedback.

I don't know why I didn't do this before. I have been trying to get feedback for ever from family and friends but they are all like it was great. This is wonderful. Thank you all.

Think of it as a paper. You need an overall topic statement (I want to be on the biggest loser because I want to finally live the life I was meant to live). Then talk about the key reasons. I'd lead with the baby thing, because its more emotional. Then talk about all the adventures you can't do because of your weight. Finally, talk about wanting to learn how to lead an all-encompassing healthy life from cooking to exercise.

If you can squeeze out a few tears, that will probably help your case. From what I've seen, they love it when people cry.

Since you want to show your adventurous side, maybe have a slide that says "Although I'm adventurous and outgoing..." then cut to some pics of you doing adventurous things. "My weight prevents me from living the life I want to live" Then cut to some of the body shots, or you eating or something.

I guess I was just confused about the videos. Why is it important to you that they know about your love of motorcycles? Will that help them decide to pick you?

True about the motorcycle thing. I wasn't thinking about it that way. So true and thank you again. I am going to print what you said to help me out. Me and my husband are going to be doing a lot more taping this week. I think I was mostly trying to use footage I already had to get it done and sent in before but I think if I put a little more work into it I will have a much better shot at it. The crying thing I will have to work on. I can cry at the drop of a hat for someone else but not as easy for myself. I always had to be the strong one in my family so not a lot of tears. The baby thing I feel all cried out for. I will never ever give up but it is just so hard to keep crying about it. So hard. Thanks again.

with SlickChik's advice. Maybe posting the video guidelines would help us help you better. To me the video seemed too long, and the video clips at the end (the last 2 min or so, eg feeding chickens, the dogs by themselves, etc) seemed even more random than the others.
