Denied and told by rebate center to obtain another upc
I am so mad!
I bought six bluetooth headsets from tigerdirect in mid december, 3 of one type, 3 of another. Rebate form says 3 rebates per person.
So three of the rebates were approved, three denied. All were mailed together. They claim I did not send in the original upc. I faxed my copied to them last week but they didnt care, saying I need to mail in the original. This is in spite of the fact that I already mailed all the upc's to them.
Then I was told to go to a store and look around for a box of the same item and use that to mail in another upc. I asked if he intended for me to buy another item or steal it and he says I should just find an empty box and take it!
WTF?!?!?! I know TD has a bad rep for rebates but this is the first time that keeping a copy has not solved the problem. Is there anything I can do? Should I call/email and threaten with contacting attorney general and all that stuff?
edit: I am filing a request for rebate help on tigerdirect's website. Hopefully they can provide some assistance.
