Making pork in the crockpot with dr. pepper. I had it from last November (yeah, I think I mentioned before I don't drink soda often) rolling between some rr at walgreens. Hope it works, I need a different way to use them up. I've heard too that you can make cake with it. Maybe I should try that...I have so many cake mixes to tinker with!

[QUOTE=rydergal;43172114]I haven't seen one...would love info on Petsmart deals too. Getting low on animal food, both dog and cat, and the deals there are hit or miss.
I found http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/58956 this deal while I was surfing SD this morning. I am going to search around some more for a good blog I will probably go this weekend and try this deal though. HAVE: Winn Dixie $5/$30 q's. Can also trade Save A Lot, CVS, Target and most anything else you might need
WANT: Looking for Lays $3 q and smart balance milk $1.50/1 |

Linky no worky? Reps are back...for now.
I owe loads of gratitude to everyone that got me where I am! Read the *NEW* CVS FAQ and post your questions there. Let's keep the deal threads deal-related, please.Would it kill you to read the wiki? Or to read the thread? All the experts got to where they are by reading...you can too. |

![]() I haven't ever looked at Authority before...I'll have to check it out. THANKS to both of you!!!! Wonder if the 15% will work on top of it? Edit: probably not...the Authority q is a store q. But maybe...? Edit again!: reports in that deal's thread say the 15% q works too

I want to go to Target so badly, but I am so thoroughly tired. I have to go to P and CVS tomorrow, so maybe I'll throw T in there too (lots of planing/cutting/listmaking to do though). My entire day is spent taking the 16-month old and the 3.5-year old off the couch (think 5 Little Monkeys jumping on the

I'm really annoyed...
DH had what he thought was a 'good dental appt' yesterday, the person there said everything looked good, etc. Well, *then* I get a call from someone at the office saying that he has two cavities. She said that the dentist got there (she was late and did not examine him) and was looking at x-rays. I'm already not feeling as comfortable with this (she never examined him AND I tend to be conservative with treatment trying to arrest the decay first--which I've done in the past) as this was not the original dentist we saw at this practice, sadly the other dentist at the practice we loved passed away. So, then today I get a treatment plan for him sent to the house for THREE fillings?!? Already called them and supposedly someone is going to call me back. I don't like the way this was handled...at all! And, for him to 'spontaneously' get three new cavities after we officially have to switch to the new dentist? This does not feel good to me... (I think I mentioned that over a decade ago when I first moved to Florida and saw a 'new' dentist it was 'claimed' that I needed 9 fillings. YEAH, 9! Ran the hell away from that dentist and to another dentist that said just what I knew I needed none! )

Ok, I ran some numbers on the Authority deal. If by chance anyone is interested in dog food instead of cat food, the 8lb bags come up to 44 cents per pound after 15% and $5 (I assumed the 15% comes off first, so if that's not true, the numbers would change a wee bit). Based on the starting price of 9.99, total should be $3.49 + tax.
If the 15% does come off first, the cat food is a slight MM... 1.58 (2 cans) 5.99 (4# bag) 7.57 total -1.14 (15%) -5.00 (dry food q) -1.58 (2 cans free q) -7.72 in q's Net $.15 in overage to help pay for tax or apply towards something else (I have no idea how PS registers handle overage, so YMMV) Even if the 15% doesn't come off first, you are still looking at some seriously cheap or free cat food.

The only positive is that the sale ads haven't been that great, so I'm not really missing much or anything I absolutely need! |

I do WANT to go at least to CVS. My aunt uses Revlon exclusively and they have her lipstick on ECB deal - so I want to stock up for Christmas for her. However, I get exhausted trying to plan little $25, $20 (whatever) trips. I just want all 6 lipsticks, but what the heck would I do with a $30ecb??!! |
