Anyone know what a good Publix price is on lean ground beef? Reg price here is $4.99/lb, and I don't recall the sale price being lower than $4.29/lb.
I just ordered some from Zaycon for $3.29/lb, since I was so pleased with their chicken. I asked a friend if she wanted to order some as well, but she said that this price isn't much better than Publix's routine prices. Huh? Am I missing something, or is she confusing lower-quality (and cheaper) ground chuck with lean ground beef?
Keep yo' hands off my money, honey.

Save $5.00 off Turkey when you buy 10 participating Kraft Foods Items: • KRAFT Natural Shredded and Block Cheese (7-8 oz.) • KRAFT Singles (12 oz.) • VELVEETA® (32 oz.) • KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese (8 oz.) • KRAFT Mayo or MIRACLE WHIP Dressing (22-30 oz.) • KRAFT Dressing (14-16 oz.) • PLANTERS Dry Roasted Peanuts (16 oz.) • YUBAN Coffee (31 oz.) • PLANTERS Mixed Nuts and Cashews (8-10.3 oz) • MAXWELL HOUSE Coffee (28-30.6 oz.) • GEVALIA Coffee (12 oz. bag) • OSCAR MAYER Bacon (12-16 oz.) • CLAUSSEN Pickles (20-32 oz.) The ad is from a store in Minnesota, so fat chance getting a hard copy. Depends how you feel about using coupons printed from an online store circular then. But if Publix won't let you combine it with coupons on the qualifying products, there's not much point anyway. |

I bought some of the cheapo stuff at Target earlier this week because it was all short-dated and someone put the $3 coupons on it by mistake I just have to plan different recipes so I can drain the fat
The way I see it every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things but vice versa the bad things don’t necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant |

Thanks! That's kinda what I thought. I rarely splurge on the "good stuff" because 5 bucks a pound just seems crazy expensive. I buy el cheapo too, and have kind of an elaborate fat-removal system. In fact, the only time I buy lean or sirloin is if I know my man will be doing the cooking, as I know he will not take the time to do the whole drainage process. ![]() Looking forward to not having to worry about all that fat.

![]() I don't know if anyone has mentioned, but all three households I did Pink rebates for got their cookware today! woohoo! Occam's Razor: one should not increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of entities required to explain anything.

Of the listed items, only the Singles, Planters and bacon appear to be on sale - so this coupon would essentially get you just another $.50 off each. The only qualifying item I planned to get was bacon, but I don't know if I need ten! |

![]() Oh, regarding your sig about American Girl dolls. AG does have promo codes (I think they did for Cyber Monday last year), but then I think they ditch free shipping, so it basically always end up being the same. Are you looking for a certain doll? eBay might be your best bet. My AG dolls are one of my few prized possessions. I've had mine over 20 years now.

Dollar General (who woulda thought) has a good deal on the Libby's Veggies thru Wed. They are on sale for 45¢ a can. Combine with the $1/4 to be 20¢ a can.
They also have a in store promo for Pedigree Dog food, BOGO. Don't know if they will take Qs on the free one or not, but there is a $1/1 Pedigree Dry Food For Dogs, any 3.5 lb or larger - 09-30-12 RP. |

What about the Our Generation doll they sell at Target? They're 18" dolls and come with books, just like AG. Except they're only $30ish. |
