yup, it's their ultra portable, hence no DVD. Check some of the youtube videos, the laptop is very thin.

I bought this laptop the last time for 749.00. Good deal on a decent laptop. It stays cool, is light, and is extremely fast once upgraded with an ssd. The chicklet style keyboard is just ok but it the laptop packs some nice features. The no cd/dvd has not caused me any issues until today. Intel has a firmware update for the ssd installed in it and it's in an iso format, and I haven't figured out how to update it just yet without an external drive or removing the drive from the laptop. All in all- nice machine. Bootable usb thumb drive anyone? The only thing it's missing is a backlit keyboard!
