im on the wall between this and a sony a33, what are the benefits of this over the other, and what types of lens can this use other than pentax obviously?

It does continuous focus during video that pentax can't do. Slickdeals is a hole in my pocket.

Snapsort gives the K-r the edge on image quality and high ISO shooting. Will you be shooting at night or in dark settings? according to this the Sony wins with a 70 versus Pentax's 62. I own the K-r and love it so if Sony's A33 is better you cannot go wrong with it. Either camera will make you happy. |

pretty good deal. last time i saw this good was during Thanksgiving from Amazon (same price). it's a good camera - but make sure ur piece focuses accurately (common problem with k-r).

i bought this from abes.... the one that was shipped was having the edial issue.
So, any one buying Pentax - please beware. The camera is great. Some of them have the edial button issue. I am waiting for a replacement. Looks very mechanical camera to me and not sure if this will go along for more than a year.... |
