Damn I was going to go shopping for a mattress tomorrow, might stay in!
.

Note that the removal is not free on all mattresses.

And I think you meant to say "imagine" not image.

Thanks OP!!! In for a Queen Simmons Beautyrest Classic Hunterdon Luxury Firm. Figured I'd buy it without trying for only $200 delivered to my door. I'd rather not try and strap it to the towncar, and hell, ANYTHING is better than what I've got now!

My daughter has a Simmons Beautyrest Capistrano Luxury Firm mattress that I LOVE. This can't be too far off. I'm incredibly excited!!!

wow they charge 300 bucks for a foundation making the price of the kingsize I was looking at closer to 800 dollars. At that price I can buy a king size plush pillowtop locally at one of the 5 furniture stores nearby. My wife and I bought a pillowtop king last year for the guestroom at sears during one of their midnight madness sales and we paid $725 and got 12 months interest free financing if we used our sears card. On top of that it included the box springs which aren't quite as good as a foundation but that really is a personal choice.

Now don't get me wrong, an 800 dollar matress and foundation is still not too bad considering that some furniture stores can charge 1500+ for kingsize sets but a good old sears bought set sure feels good to me

Honestly, I'd recommend buying a cheapie box spring locally if you don't already have anything to support a King mattress already. Get the mattress (the heaviest & largest part of the set) delivered to your doorstep for the $500 and put a smile on your face!

You might have trouble with the warranty if you don't get the matching set.

Also, delivery takes 2 to 3 weeks.

I've been agonizing over this mattress thing for awhile. Time to just be done with it.

Ive been looking for a mattress to replace my old college mattress. The Simmons Beautyrest Hunterdon Plush Queen Mattress will do the trick for $199. I am going to keep my old box spring. I hope to experience a significant difference. Thumbs up!

Did you read the link you posted?
Quote from http://www.simmons.com/warranty_card.cfm :
Mattresses not used with a proper foundation. Examples of proper support include:
Simmons(R) foundation or a supportive, rigid, non-yielding foundation. Queen, Olympic(R) queen, and king size must have sufficient center support.

Claiming that not having the "matching" foundation/boxspring will void the warranty is a common sales tactic in B&M stores.
Quote from The Mattress Scam website :
If I Don't Buy The Same Box spring in the Set, Will My Warranty Be Void?

In most cases the answer to this one is no. This was the number one sales-shark lie told by mattress sales associates in our interviews. An overwhelming majority simply said you need to buy the same box spring or else your warranty is void. Many of them pinned the blame on the manufacturer, stating that the manufacturer insists the box spring be the same brand as the mattress.

For what it's worth I purchased a mattress and box spring from them about 5 years ago. There was a problem with the mattress after about a year and a half. US mattress arranged for an inspector to come out and the inspector reported back to the mattress manufacturer that I caused the problem. I contacted a person named Pete at US mattress and he basically worked it out and I got a new mattress delievered free. They will stand behind their products.
