2011 MURPHY USA Bracket Challenge
Welcome to the 2011 MURPHY USA Bracket Challenge. The 2011 MURPHY USA Bracket Challenge (the "Sweepstakes") is a competition to predict the results of the 2011 Division I Men's College Basketball Tournament (the "Tournament"). On March 13, 2011 the selection committee will seed the qualifying college basketball teams of the Tournament. Participants will attempt to select the winners of each game in the Tournament. Participants will earn points by correctly predicting the winning team in each game of the Tournament. The number of points awarded for each correct pick will increase with each round of the Tournament. The exact number of points awarded in this Sweepstakes is set forth in the Making Picks section below. Four grand prizes ("Grand Prize") will be awarded, with one Grand Prize being awarded to the participant with the highest total number of points scored in this Sweepstakes in each of four pre-determined regions, as described in the Prizes section of these Official Rules. Smaller prizes may also be awarded after each round, based upon the number of points scored in each individual round.

The Sweepstakes will begin on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 and will run through the final game of the Tournament scheduled for April 4, 2011.

No Cost
The 2011 MURPHY USA Bracket Challenge is FREE to play. No purchase or entry fee is necessary to enter or win.

Administration
MURPHY USA will serve as the Administrator of the 2011 MURPHY USA Bracket Challenge and will be responsible for resolving any disputes that arise regarding the rules.

Eligibility
To be eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes, you must be: (a) a Registered User; (b) a legal resident of one (1) of the twenty-two (22) U.S. states in which MURPHY USA (and MURPHY EXPRESS) operates stores. Presently, these states include: AL, AR, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NM, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, and VA; c) a legal, licensed driver.

For purposes of these Official Rules, "Registered User" means a person who has successfully completed the registration form and has obtained a User Identification ("ID") and associated password ("Password") on the following website: www.MURPHYUSABRACKETCHALLENGE.com. If you are not a Registered User you may become a Registered User and obtain an ID and a Password by completing the Sweepstakes registration process on this website. There is no fee or charge for you to become a Registered User.

Employees of MURPHY USA and Murphy Oil (collectively, the "Sweepstakes Entities") and each of their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies and members of the immediate family or household of each are not eligible to win. Immediate family or households is defined as a parent, sibling or any person residing in the same household as an employee of the Sweepstakes Entities. Void where prohibited by law. Such excluded persons may play, but WILL NOT be eligible to receive a Grand Prize (the "Prize").



Playing

Signing Up
Registered Users may sign up any time by visiting the MURPHYUSABRACKETCHALLENGE.com web site prior to the start of the Tournament on March 15, 2011. Participants will be asked to go to the URL www.MURPHYUSABRACKETCHALLENGE.com and follow the onscreen instructions (the "Onscreen Instructions") in order to enter. Onscreen Instructions are hereby incorporated in these Official Rules.

Selection Deadline
Brackets will be filled on March 13, 2011 and posted on-line under the "My Picks" link on the Sweepstakes site. Picks must be submitted by 5:00 PM Central Time on March 15, 2011. The Administrator may send a reminder e-mail on March 13, 2011 to participants who have signed up but haven't yet submitted picks.

Making Picks
After you sign up, you will have access to an on-line brackets page listing the eligible Division 1 Men's College Basketball Tournament teams and their round one match-ups. The first four games comprise a new round before the main round of 68 teams begins.

Participants must enter their projected winners of all 71 games of the Tournament, round by round. Beginning with round two, the Administrator will weigh predictions for each successive round more heavily than the previous round in accordance with the table below. Points will be awarded by multiplying your number of correct predictions of winning teams in each round of the Sweepstakes by the weight assigned to each applicable round. For example, you would receive five (5) points for five correct predictions of winning teams in round one, and ten (10) points for five correct predictions of winning teams in round two. You will receive an individual score for each of the six Tournament rounds; and an overall score, which is the combined total of your individual round scores.

Tie Breaker
Participants will be required to guess the number of points scored by the championship game winner. In the event of a tie in the total number of Sweepstakes points earned by two or more participants, the Grand Prize(s) will be awarded to the participant(s) who most closely predict the number of points scored by the championship game winner. If a tie still remains after evaluating the final game score predictions, the winner will be randomly drawn from the contestants involved in the tie.

Prizes

Grand Prize
Four (4) grand prizes (the "Prize") will be awarded to the participant scoring the highest total number of Sweepstakes points in each of four predetermined regions. Grand Prize Winners (the "Prize Winner") will receive FREE GAS FOR A YEAR* from MURPHY USA.

Prize Details and Restrictions
The “Free Gas for a Year” offer is defined by MURPHY USA as follows: Assumes 12,000 total miles driven in the twelve month period following awarding of the Prize at an average fuel economy of 20.08 miles per gallon. For the purpose of the 2011 MURPHY USA BRACKET CHALLENGE, an average per gallon price of $3.009 (based on the chain-wide average price on 2/19/2011) is assumed, resulting in a total dollar value of approximately $1,800.00. Each Grand Prize recipient will receive a MURPHY USA gas card in the amount of $1,800.00 for purchases only at MURPHY USA or MURPHY EXPRESS stations. MURPHY USA is not responsible for making adjustments to the Prize based upon actual gasoline prices.

Prize is non-transferable; no substitutions or cash awards allowed. All prize details are at the sole discretion of the Sweepstakes Entities. Each participant agrees to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities, their parent companies and their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, including Aristotle, their digital advertising agency, and all of their respective employees, directors, officers, shareholders & agents (collectively, "Releasees") from any & all claims or liability in connection with participation in this promotion or acceptance or use of the Prize. Acceptance of the Prize constitutes permission for Administrator and its designees to use the name, address, and likeness of the Prize Winner for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.

Odds/Winner Notification
Grand Prizes and any other lesser prizes will be awarded to the winners by April 15, 2011. Prize winners will be notified by email and, if necessary, by phone, assuming participant provides a working, accurate phone number as part of the registration process. Winners must submit a picture to claim their prize. Prizes not claimed by the winner by April 15, 2011 may be canceled or awarded to another participant.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible participants and the outcome of the 2011 NCAA Men's basketball tournament.



Legal Disclaimers
General Conditions
By entering, each participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of MURPHY USA, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Further, each participant also acknowledges and agrees to the MURPHY USA BRACKET CHALLENGE Terms of Use. Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner. No substitution or transfer of a prize is permitted. MURPHY USA reserves the right to substitute the Prize for one of equal or greater value in the event that the advertised prize is unavailable.

Potential winner will be required to sign and return, within thirty (30) days of issuance, the Affidavit of Eligibility and Publicity/Liability Release. Failure to return such documents within the specified time period, noncompliance with these Official Rules, the return of the Prize or prize notification or if the potential Prize Winner declines the Prize for any reason may result in the Prize being awarded to an alternate Prize Winner.

Except where prohibited by law, the Prize Winner's acceptance of the Prize constitutes permission for the Sweepstakes Entities to use Prize Winner's name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and address (city and state) worldwide and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without further compensation. Participants agree to Administrator's use of their names and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

MURPHY USA is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected on-line entries or transactions, for incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete entry information whether caused by a contestant, equipment, or technical malfunction or for any human error, technical error or malfunctions. MURPHY USA reserves the right to halt or modify the Sweepstakes at any time during the Sweepstakes period if events beyond their control compromise the Sweepstakes, fairness or integrity. In the event that a scheduled game is canceled or not played for any reason, no points will be awarded for that game or the affected NCAA teams.

MURPHY USA is not responsible for typographical or other human or technical errors in the offer or administration of this Sweepstakes, including but not limited to errors in advertising, the Official Rules, the selection and announcement of the Prize Winner or the distribution of the Prize.

MURPHY USA, in its sole discretion, may disqualify any participant from participating in the Sweepstakes, refuse to award points or the Prize, and require the return of any part of the Prize, if participant engages in any conduct MURPHY USA deems to be improper, unfair or otherwise adverse to the operation of the Sweepstakes or detrimental to other participants. Such improper conduct includes, but is not limited to, falsifying personal information required during Sweepstakes registration or Prize claim, violating any term or condition stated herein, accumulating points or prizes through methods such as automated computer scripts or other programming techniques, allowing others to use the participant's personal information for the purpose of accumulating points or prizes, tampering with MURPHY USA's administration of this promotion, or intentionally trying to defraud, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile or otherwise tamper with the computer programs on this Web site. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of MURPHY USA and Murphy Oil (collectively, the "Sweepstakes Entities") and each of their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, including Aristotle, their digital advertising agency, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, MURPHY USA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute, entries made by Internet will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. Any entry that is incomplete, late, or does not include a validly issued User ID will be disqualified.

In the event that the Sweepstakes is challenged by any legal or regulatory authority, MURPHY USA reserves the right to discontinue or modify the Sweepstakes, or to disqualify participants residing in the affected geographic areas. In such event, MURPHY USA shall have no liability to any participants who are disqualified due to such an action.

Release
