Hey Slickdealers,

I am am planning to travel from Texas to Florida for Spring Break (March 11-March 20th) with a few friends. I am looking for the best of deals on car rentals that allow you to go out of the state.

We are looking for a mid or full size car (not a minivan, suv, etc). I know Enterprise is limited traveling within a few states, so renting from them is not an option.

I've already done a few searches on a few sites (expedia, orbitz, hotwire, etc), but I'm wondering if anyone knows of any COUPONS/PROMOTIONS/ETC that I can take advantage of to reduce the cost on a rental even further.

I tried doing some forum searches, but most threads related to car rentals seem to be older. Also any tips on car renting before I dive into this? This will be my first time renting a vehicle. I know taxes can be quite high when renting.

Thanks in advance for any responses!

Sorry, I had one more question. Do you know if sites like http://www.carrentalsavers.com (among the others I mentioned in my OP) already take into account any discounts/promotions/etc?

Or do I have to enter in coupon codes manually and look for specific promotions? Or maybe I have to present the coupon code at the time of payment?? So confused right now, please help!

Nevermind guys, sorry for the stupid question. I guess you have to put in the Corp ID, Coupon Code, etc. when booking through the actual site (Alamo, National, AVIS, Hertz, etc).

This is the one of the best sites for book car rentals by the way: http://travel.bjs.com/promotion/b...efault.asp

Thanks for the websites and suggestions.

Hello Guys,

I have been searching from last 2 weeks for good price on car rental for my trip to Las Vegas to SFO from Apr 25 to May 3. This is one way rental and want to rent only Minivan or Large SUV....since I am travelling with 9 people. I did search many sites and the lowest I could find with unlimited miles is from Enterprise. $615 for Minivan.

Can somebody please suggest which car should fit for 9 people and any other promotions/codes. Thanks in advance!
