Need recommendations for British Comedy TV Shows

Hey all,

I'm looking for some recommendations on some British Comedy TV Shows. I just got introduced to the show The Inbetweeners, and I LOVE it. Do you guys know of any other TV Comedy show that has a similar crude type humor? The only other British comedy I have seen was The Office, which was great.

Zoe has a good list. You might like "Peep Show" and "Little Britain" too. There's a fair share of crudeness in both (especially the latter.)

It's not British, but you might also like the Canadian series "Trailer Park Boys."

Benny Hill and Monty Python.......

That's my exposure to Brit TV, I got nothing else.....

None of them are stupid or teenish. But they do have that weird/quirky off the wall British humor.

I listed Extras on there as it was Ricky Gervais first show and I think it's much better than The Office.

League of Gentleman is the most bizarre and surreal of the shows. It's hard to describe but I loved the first season.

Father Ted has an older cast but it's definitely rude and crude yet very funny.

The IT Crowd is funny, clever and even funnier if you're a techie person.

Red Dwarf, again is an older cast but very rude, crude and funny.

If you want rude crude and teens/young people try The Young Ones. I never cared for it but maybe you'll like it.

Just watched BH last weekend while working on my sister's taxes...we got a good laugh...haven't seen that stuff in years...lol

It's not really crude or immature but I think that "Fawlty Towers" is probably the funniest. I rewatched the series a few years ago and it really holds up well.

looking around the internets, people are recommending Spaced, and Misfits. any thoughts on those?

Thanks for the descriptions, Im gonna try them all out, but first I will try Extras, The IT Crowd, and Red Dwarf
