Just installed Tomato on router and trying to forward port: WAN IP on router different than external IP?

It's pretty straightforward. dyndns used to allow free accounts but I am not sure if they are still doing that. You can go to your tomato router - "Basic" - "DDNS" and there will be a list of DDNS services (drop-down menu) on the page. Try one of them and see if you can set up a free account and then fill in the settings (domain name and stuff on the account page of that ddns service website, and user account information and other stuff on the tomato DDNS page) and that should allow anyone to access your router's WAN IP address by the domain name from anywhere. And if they use http protocol (80/443) then the request will go to whichever IP address the port forwarding points to behind the router.
