If she is able to do it without po'ing the person who gave it to her, she can sell in on Ebay and make at least $200, probably alot more. I've never returned to Coach without a receipt before, so I don't know their policy, but if she can return it and get a $400 store credit, she could sell it for nearly that amount on Ebay. I wish I had some extra $$ right now, or I would buy it from her myself!

She couldn't return it or sell it without the mil being offended and sulking. If she doesn't get her way or you make her unhappy about something, she will go sulk like it's the end of the world. Sara will use it, and believe me it is very nice but it's not a nessessity and she could have gotten a really nice diaper bag for under 100 and bought the baby 300 in savings bonds or put the money towards the pool fence that Sara and Mike need to get this spring. The other concern I have which is the reason I don't carry a Coach bag and most of my friends won't is....Around here it's like wearing a sign saying "mug me" I don't even like to buy the knock off's they sell because they look so real and it's not worth the risk of having someone knock me down for it.

Cake:
1 pkg yellow cake mix
1 small pkg vanilla instant pudding mix
4 eggs
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup gold/dark rum
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup pecans

Glaze:
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup gold/dark rum

Pour the chopped pecans into the bottom of a greased bundt pan. Blend all cake ingredients and pour into pan. Bake at 350* for about 45 minutes. Cool 10 minutes and turn out on to a serving plate. Drizzle with glaze (I also poke holes to add in more glaze) and let rest for several hours (preferably 24 hours) before serving.

To make glaze, bring sugar, butter, and water to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat, add rum, and return to heat until bubbly.

You can omit the pudding if you use a cake mix/with pudding. I have tried both ways. Like with pkg pudding best

I have tried different flavors cake mixes. Use your imagination...Chocolate, Coconut, Spice

Also tried different puddings...Use your imagination but the original is the best
The longer this cakes sits, the better the taste.
Cake freezes well and can be made as gifts in little bundt pans.

Good Morning All! Hope you all are bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning. I tripped over one of my huskies yesterday and it was a comedy in three parts.She was laying in the hallway and as I stepped over her, she stood up. Not wanting to smash her ( I am a real heavy weight), I propeled myself forward. I have bookshelves lining the wall on one side and I ended up smacking one of the shelves. The left side of me is bruised and hurting but the right side is fine. What we won't do to protect our furbabies! Better me hurting than her. L143, keep warm at the football game today. Looks like our favorite teams may be playing each other next week. I will watch for you in the crowd. lol Well

I'm a bandwagon fan, what can I say

I've yet to have it turn out bad, and I improvise a lot.

So, I'm on my lovely ski vacation. Sitting in the condo, hanging with the kid, while others ski. Kinda sad, but I'll get over it. Today is our last full day, tomorrow we do the 7 hour drive again. Glad it's a 4-day work week this week, cuz this wears me out.

We do have the Seahawks game on and we're watching them lose. I know many of you are happy about this.

Hey Ariel, on FB you posted something about blockbuster express. I JUST noticed we have one of those at a gas station here. We always use Redbox but was wondering how much BB Exp is? Love Redbox's $1...our regular blockbuster store closed down before Christmas.

IDK honestly how much they cost. I have never paid for them. I only use codes! The code that was working yesterday for 1 free rental is 14CHD2X. It may still be working, IDK. We used it on Saturday and Sunday. Its just like redbox where you can use the code once per CC you have (includes some pre paids and debit cards). You do have to do each rental in a different "transaction" but I think its worth it.

I found the code in a thread here while searching for a redbox code.

Thanks for the info...will try that code to see if it works. I suspect our 4 Redbox's didn't help our regular Blockbuster store's business. I was really surprised when I saw the BB Express kiosk outside of Quiktrip last week! Didn't know we had one.

My DH had to work today also. DS took the day off--they just picked up the kids to go down to Tulsa to ChuckieCheeses...kids are looking forward to that.

It's a gray and cloudy day outside--I am so tired of dreary--I need some sunshine. I really think I may have that seasonal disorder--this gets to me quickly! At least it's 46 degrees. All last week, we didn't get above freezing.
