They do charge/collect around $3.5 a month or about $42 a year for fee/taxes.
And likely they will increase more for the State and Local tax/fee which Ooma is currently absorbing the state & local taxes if any. In one of the post in their own forum, they said they are implementing state & local taxes in their system and they will be passed on to the consumers if applicable.
MMV Financial (MMV), a preeminent specialty finance firm serving venture-backed companies in North America, announced today that it has extended $3 million in debt financing to Ooma....

I read in the costco thread that the international credit expires after 90 days. For those like me who rarely call international, this would be a better deal.
I think it is 180 days not 90 days. Can any one confirm that?
I bought ooma from costco in Nov'09 and I still have $50 in my prepaid account today.
Once I accidentally called 911 with it while trying faxing something to India, didn't even realize it until I was paid a visit by a cop at 3am in the morning. Needless to say haven't used a penny out of my $50 since then.
1) So far, no one (even the OP) confirm if Staples actually price match with a membership fee based Membership warehouse club Costco.
2) They are not the same item since Costco include $50 international calling credit which you can use to call Canada, Mexico, Asia, etc. But Staples one doesn't mention about that at all. People said the calling credit supposed to expire after 180 days but few people confirmed they still have it after 180 days
3) Costco has very good return policy. You can return it to Costco for full refund even after few years if Ooma goes out of business few years later or Ooma decided in reduce features or increase fee/taxes.
Price change at Costco, and not same product at Staples?
It looks like the prices is up at Costco to $200, which isn't a deal breaker, since the $30 off coupon will still have a big impact. However, it appears that the Costco one has a bluetooth adapter and the Staples one doesn't. Can anyone confirm this? I'm hoping the Staples one is just missing it from the description
