Well with regular pricing I was told reloading may save you about 100 bucks per 1k. But take a few hours of your time, plus the worry about testing and tailoring your loads (much easier when you can just step outside and shoot).

So to save 100 bucks was never worth it to me. But now, to save 200 bucks.. shoot I might. I definitely shoot enough to make it worth it.

Although I heard primers were a pain in the A to locate now?
If it saved $200/1000 rounds I think everybody and their mother would be reloading. $200 isn't far from retail for 1000 rounds of federal at walmart. laugh out loud You'd be saving like 90%

My friend just got an M&P 15 Sport for $765 OTD, brand new. Stripped down model, but still a good deal I think.

gunbot.net has become one of my new favorite sites. I have setup deal alerts on here for ammo but gunbot gets them faster. By the time a deal alert hits my inbox the ammo is already sold out. So far I have only purchased about 100 rounds of ammo. I am trying to get about 200 of various types to see how the Troy handles before going in on a bulk order. The fact that it is nearly $1/round is a bit off putting so I may not shoot it as much. I guess I have a reason to get a 22 now. nod My father-in-law has a nylon 22 and a nice ruger 10/22 which is technically my wife's but he holds on to them.

I was actually considering getting rid of my M&P 15-22 back in December so I could pick up some more "real" guns...glad I hung on to it now though. I still have only ~150 rounds total for my troy 5.56 and have shot 60 total through it (30 myself, 30 by one of my buddies). I'll tell you what, this lack of ammo does something for my unusual splurging nature...Also, I hate spending so much on something that was so much cheaper just a little while back. I guess I just am too frugal to pay 2-3x msrp on stuff..and I blame that on slickdeals.

Bought some bulk .22LR for $400, sold it for $700. This whole supply & demand thing is working out pretty nice.

I'm borderline paralyzed by the amount of holster options out there for the M&P Shield. Anyone have a suggestion on a good place to buy from that has a good return policy? I am looking for an IWB holster, but my goodness...so many choices.

What are your thoughts on it? Seems like a decent price, just wonder about the actual quality.

I'll report back when I actually pick it up in a couple weeks. Just got so excited that I had to let SD know in advance.

Ha, I was actually looking at both of these. I see about a $40 dollar difference in price. Is the SPARC worth the price jump? Looking at specs I am not seeing much of a difference.
