My stock was only $13, but technically it is for "airsoft only" but I don't see what the difference is. This is my scope here - http://www.amazon.com/4X30-Compac...B00079PG2Q

And this is the one I want - http://www.amazon.com/UTG-3-9x32-...212&sr=1-1
Airsoft parts are fine on a 22lr rifle. They aren't made to handle the recoil of an AR platform.

You'll find a lot of that stuff called magpul PTS

The guy I bought it from had some of those. Is that what you use? Big Grin

Where do you buy ammo online?
i had some cheap korean copies that i never even tried before i sold my glock.. i did have 2 15 round magazines and 3 10 round magazines when i sold it.. when i buy another glock it will probably be a compact or subcompact 9.. the one i sold was a full size model 31 and i loved it..

i usually just watch slick guns .com to see who has cheap ammo on sale

ammoseek.com is usually a good search engine for ammo prices. Sometimes the cheapest ammo will be blanks or reduced loads though, so just read all the details before you buy.

Anyone here shoot a fair about of .38 SPL? Trying to find a lower-recoil ammo to use in my S&W Airweight. I have been using 158gr. and I have to imagine there is something out there with a bit less kick.

Has anyone here tried using a glock conversion barrel or just swapping out the original for a 9mm in your 40? 40 Cal ammo is just expensive when you're talking about shooting at a range. So I'm thinking about trying to get my hands on a g17 barrel or buying a conversion barrel.

But

after searching online it appears that many are able to convert their g22 to a g17 with a simple barrel swap and g17 magazine of course.

I suggest checking out lone wolf barrels, glock factory barrels are the best, but lone wolf aren't bad.

I had a threaded one in my g19 and didnt have any issues.

I would still ask around though. I know the feed ramps and extractor are completely different for 40 and 9mm and may cause issues. Specifically the extractor me thinks

Remember when I made you make this thread because I had to make the baseball thread? yea...it's twice as big as mine now.

A problem I am of course used to but still hurts none the less.

That is cuz baseball blows. Take your FIP and VORP somewhere else.

the feed ramps are cut into the barrel.. the extractor should still work.. but yeah everything i've ever read about glocks and sigs suggests its just a barrel and mag swap to go from .40 cal to 9mm.. and to go from .40 to .357 just requires a different barrel, same mags

Got a new Hogue monogrip for my S&W Model 34 Airweight and I also picked up a pocket holster. Really anxious to shoot it w/ the new grip, the factory one was so scrawny. Should help minimize recoil.

Looks nice. I'm looking to get a snub nose next and will probably get those grips if it comes with a wooden handle. I'm looking for something with a bobbed hammer though (I think). This will be the wife's gun.

I would definitely recommend either hammer less or bobbed hammer for a revolver if it is going to be carried. My instructor showed how easy it is to catch your shirt on the hammer when drawing. I guess it depends of how it is going to be carried as well.

I received my first holster as a birthday gift for my shield. It is a Comptac Minotaur. I'll post photos when I can.

Yeah the snagging was my main reason for that along with the fact that if you cock it in a defensive situation, you're much more likely to accidentally pull the trigger. Better to just use it in double action.
