Shoot it and get used to it IMO.

1911s are single action pistols, therefore the triggger pull is much lighter.

Glocks are strikerfired, safer for carry but that trade-off is a heavier trigger pull.

Also, not something I agree with, but something I have heard, is that doing trigger work (ie lightening the trigger pull) to a pistol used in a defensive scenario could create some legal troubles. My buddy (lawyer) tells me its nonsense..

Either way, a glock is a very accurate gun once you get used to the trigger. I use my g19 when I shoot IDPA, although I did just buy a g17 for that role..

I actually prefer strikerfired and dao pistols over single action/double action pistols now personally.
i've read that same thing about reloaded ammo..

This is a great, cheap, easy upgrade for glock triggers. Takes all of about 1 minute to do. Smooths out the overall pull, shortens the reset, and makes the break crisper

I had him check it out. Turns out the trigger was jacked up. He showed me a new one and what it should feel like and it was a huge difference. He said mine was taking probably 10 lbs of pressure to get it to break. No wonder.

Got a new (to me) shotgun. A pretty old Savage 2+1 semi-auto. First shotgun I have ever owned. A gift from a relative, I'll post pictures in a day or 2.

Speaking of Glock. I picked this baby up this weekend at my lgs. Had them install Trijicon night sights. Now I need to find a holder to potentially carry. Thinking a Blackhawk SERPA holdster. I was looking at DeSantis but those did not seem to have a locking feature like hte Blackhawks. Can't wait to break it in this weekend hopefully.

Very nice, I love the blackhawk serpas, although I have heard certain competitions wont let you use them for safety issues (as many ride the retention release into the trigger) But I dont have a problem with em!

Oh and heres my new score from last night Smilie can't wait to shoot it

Achievements are not for the meek, it is better to forfeit inheritance of the earth so that the mighty may look upon my gamerscore, and despair. Achievements are for men who dream; men who dare; men who achieve! Men who carve out entire galaxies with nothing more than nimble cheetos-dusted fingers and their wits, and in our leisurely twilight days we shall sit by softly flickering fires with our descendants recounting the tales of these unimaginable glories.

not a bullet or bb hole.. bb holes are smaller and have a flower shape to them.. plus the bb would be between the panes of glass... when i was a kid i used to shoot hard dog food from my slingshot.. evidence gets eaten by just about any animal

depends on what your plans are for the holster. My daily carry (IWB w/ shirt tucked in over it) is a Comp Tac MTAC Minotaur holster. What I like about it is that it is completely adjustable and if I ever wanted to carry a different gun the kydex part of it is interchangeable to any number of popular firearms so you only need one paddle.

It is also very easy to make your own custom leather from a holster. My dad noticed that there werent any two magazine holsters for the M&P Shield so he took a mold of my mags, bought leather and some leather working tools, and made a perfect fit custom mag holster. Once that was done he made a mold my the Shield and made a perfect fit custom leather holster. So now I have a matching set for the cost of ~$75 and a weekend.

I will post photos when I have a chance.

I would be intersted to see pics. Is carrying IWB comfortable vs outside and on your belt like the serpa holdsters?

Very nice. Were those speed loaders included? Is that going to be a range gun or carry? Are people incorrectly loading the pistol into the SERPA holdsters for it to ride release into the trigger?

Even some professional gun instructors won't allow Serpa holsters in their classes. The trigger-finger movement involved isn't the best for safety. People can argue it's just user error, and that may be true, but it is a user error introduced and helped by the design of the holster.

Yes although they are just loaded moon clips and ammo was all included, plus another box full of 15 more with ammo, and a nice leather holster and matching double loaded moon clip holster. Me likey!
