No threaded barrel on it though. Also might look goofy if I had it threaded. 455 should be good quality though so I'm keeping that in mind.
i guess my insight was that cz 45x line is a great line.

yeah, i wouldn't put a can on my rifle. and it would look really weird to have a can with a man licker style stock. (that's how i say it in my head so that is how i'm typing it) i just love the full stock look. the rifle i really wanted was a cz-527fs chambered in 7.62x39 but i don't think they made that. they had .223 and a 6.5mm i think. which were like 300+ more and the ammo is 10x the cost.

i loved shooting it when i was the only person at the range. between the reduced noise of a 22 headphones, i didn't need my muffs.

i guess my biggest regret is not having more money back then to feel like i could buy the guns i wanted. or just stocking up on ammo. the stuff i wanted back then is so much more now. i remember looking at C&R K31s that were in pristine condition for 200. more than double now. i still kick myself, the first time i saw one in person after reading about them was at a gun show and it was like 250 (back in 2007ish). passed on it and 2 weeks later called the guy that ran the show (bob and rocco) to see if he could tell me who ran which tables and see if i could find the dealer. needless to say, she's the one that got away from me.

that rifle is my dream rifle. love C&R stuff and something about the straight bolt is just so sexy. with accuracy that rivals modern stock rifles not to mention if you get lucky, you can find the original owners name behind the buttplate.

I loved the M1 garand in CoD3 but preferred a scoped kar98!!! laugh out loud

EDIT: Just watched an M1 garand in action on youtube though. Looks more fun than a kar98.
Isn't youtubing gun videos enough to have the police break down your door in New York? In Illinois you just go down the block and pick them up off the dead gang members laying around.

I'm not a fan of old-looking C&R stuff but I understand how some people could be. I'll keep the CZ on my short list of bolt action 22s. Thanks!
