It's $100 more than DC17 at previous sales at Sears. DC17 doesn't have the ball feature so it's up to you to decide if it's worth the extra $100. I just picked up my DC17 from Sears and it is awesome! Makes me want to vacuum which I HATE to do.

I already have the DC 25 and wouldn't trade the "ball" technology for anything less. Trying to decide if I should jump or wait to see what Kohl's has on the 9th. Plus we need an "animal" vac.
