Looking for a desktop PC
HeyI'm looking for a nice desktop PC for a price less than 700. I haven't been keeping up with this technology as of late, and I guess I don't really know what a 'good deal' at this point would be with the progression of technology and the current economic situation (if that's also affecting the PC market) any suggestions for a PC or where I should be looking for a good price? |

yeah, i already have a monitor and all the accessories ...i just need a new PC/tower itself. i guess the only other new gaming item i need is headphones, but i can get that separately from the tower.
thanks so far for your help! question though about the item you listed... for video it just says 'Graphics card Integrated graphics - Intel(R) HD Graphics [VGA]' does that mean theres no graphics card included? I do a moderate level of gaming so shouldn't I be looking for something with better graphic capabilities? Last edited by s1refrosty; 03-08-2011 at 07:35 AM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

okay thanks, i didnt even know integrated graphics have progressed that much.
i think ill probably be trying to play some of the newer FPS games coming out and I probably should have a separate graphics card. I can definitely afford more than $700, I was just seeing if it was possible to get a nice computer for less now-a-days. i typically play FPS games (which can be pretty graphics heavy), but ive always been in the competitive scene playing with very low gfx settings to increase performance. so i guess i would like a medium-high medium end computer with a nice graphics card that i can maybe rely on for the next 3-4 years. so yeah, sorry for saying less than 700 if such a computer is not possible in that price range. i guess i'm willing to pay a bit more for a good computer, but if its a good deal for what im getting . . . i would like to pay less than $1000 though! (if possible- since im a student) |

This configuration is not customizable. This has an Intel i7 that has a lower power consumption than an AMD configured system.
Here are a couple of other review sources on that specific system: http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/...eviewPage1 http://www.zdnet.com/reviews/prod...c/33964709 |
