Official Windows Phone Thread (WP7 / WP8)
Realized we don't have a thread for one of the up and coming gaming platforms yet we have 5 threads for the PSP Portable, haha.
Anyway, we started to steel another thread and I didn't want to hear Skeeza complain anymore so...
Anyone have one yet? Favorite Games? Least fav you got suckered into buying via a great demo?

The main issue I have with the WP7 right now is the failed promises. I knew it wasn't going to be 100% out of the box, and figured there would be constant changes to it over this 1st year as the phone grew. Well, 5 months in and nothing...3/4 of MY games are broken and hardly ever get fixes either...no idea who to pin that on but it needs to change.
The mainpage of LIVE is neat, it has your vital info (GS, last achievement, Avatar and New Msg count), then also has all the featured stories that are also on the 360 Dashboard and has a list of all your WP7 games.
To do anything super special (send / read msgs, check your games / achievements or see who is online) you have to open an App that they have made (it all works seamlessly though from inside the LIVE page). This app has some really neat points to it! Your avatar will dance around and taunt friends when you are comparing achievements (my nephew loved that) but sending a msg doesn't use the native spell checker which is a peeve of mine. But that is the only real downfall I have for it.... Oh...it also has a habit of remembering old info...when you are checking for new msgs, sometimes it seems to look at a state for 2-3 days ago instead of the state of msgs you had when you checked earlier that morning. Or, my friends list will always be who was on/off at 8:00 PM the night before, no matter how many times I have checked it since then.
