It would have to be 720 unless the entire thing is a misprint. They'd be losing some serious money if it was 1080 with glasses.
I'm curious if 1080 really matters when you wear the glasses. Always seems to me that the picture isn't as clear with the 3d glasses.
Some 1080P 3d TVs are not 1080P in 3d, like the Mitsubishi RPTVs for example (model 60638). Watching 3d on a Ture 3D 1080P TV may provide the clarity some 3d TVs are lacking.

Called the nearest Fry's to me, in Oxnard, CA. Guy said it was store policy to not give any details about the advertised deal, but after I pressed he shared that it was an LG and a 720p. He flat refused to give me any additional info. regarding specs after that. I asked if the deal extended to tomorrow, and he said yes- I'm going to stop in there and check it out then.
Scratch what I said previously. The LG plasma in this deal does come with 2 active shutter glasses. The employee handed me polarized glasses for a passive 3D set that's also supposedly on sale. I guess he just got them mixed up. I just assumed that frys was being stupid in thinking polarized 3d glasses would work on an active 3d tv.

Reason: Frys associate was dumb.
i picked up this set when it was posted last time about a week ago. so far im 100% happy with my purchase. great deal with 2 3d glasses for free. the only issue i have with the set is it makes a strange humming sound when i first turn it on. So i will go back and see if they all do this or if its just mine. i did purchase the 2 year warranty just in case. for the price you cant even get a regular 2d tv so if your looking for a 42 then i would jump on this.
