This would be a good model to bridge between skinny or cheap original saddles and the gigunzo cruiser saddles that weigh a ton. Perfect for a hybrid-comfort type bike. The eleven dollar Cannondale model at the same site looks like a pretty good 'replacement' saddle, also.

By the bye, Serfas replaced a saddle that was WAY out of warranty for me...after I sent an email explaining the circumstances, they asked to take a look at it and I got a new Rx saddle for the cost of shipping the old one back. Good customer service, I reckon! Three bikes, three Serfas saddles!(Can't get DW away from her sprung, cushy model on her C'dale).

I installed a Serfas saddle the night before a century. While I was riding, I realized that this was probably not a good time to break in something so... sensitive...

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Serfas did just fine. Nothing achy breaky that I can recall.

The only thing (very minor) that I remember is that the lettering came right off the saddle on its maiden voyage. You can see the red lettering in the OP's thumbnail. I guess this is actually a feature. It prevents bastages from using something, and then returning it as new!

I originally posted this for the benefit of SD but after reading the positive feedback in this thread, I did some more investigating and was surprised just how many people have good things to say about this Serfas saddle so I just bought 2 for myself. Jenson still has these in stock if anybody wants one.

I just received the two saddles I ordered. They are of really nice quality. I paid shipping of only $4.95 to ship both saddles. I have to give Jenson an excellent rating. My order was well packed with airbags and even though I chose the economy shipping for 5 bucks it arrived via FedEx very quickly.
