No Microcenter near me. They have the 3gb/second version online for 59.99 on sale, says original price 94.99. Makes me wonder if the B&M has lowered the 3gb/second version to clear them out, yet messed up on the pricing and gave you the 6gb/s model.
Either way, great deal if you can get one. |

It appears the WD10EALS 3gb/second version has disappeared from their website. Maybe new models coming out and they are clearing inventory?
Still a great deal if you can find one. |

Still available. I'm going back this week to get another motherboard/cpu combo probably, and I'll look if the WD10EALX is still there. Like I said, with my MC, there were stacks of them. Good luck finding them! |

I thought mechanical hard drives weren't even fast enough to take advantage of the 6 GB/sec speed.
