GyroSynth, 4.5 stars, $0.99 (was 2.99), a theremin-like gesture-based music synthesizer. [apple.com]
Reiner Knizia's Ra, 4.5 stars, $2.99 (was 3.99--minor discount, but good game), Universal App--highly rated i version of board game of the same name. [apple.com]
Reiner Knizia's Medici (iphone), 4 stars, $0.99 (was 1.99) [apple.com] or Reiner Knizia's Medici HD, 4.5 stars, $1.99 (was 2.99) [apple.com]--iPhone and iPad versions of another of his well-liked board games.
DEAD: iSleep Space, 4.5 stars, FREE (was 0.99)--an interesting app the helps people relax, meditate, or sleep. Actually works for many, apparently. [gofreeapp.com]
Paper Train HD, 4.5 stars, $1.99 (was 2.99)--very nicely done train routing game. Not so much doodle-style as draftsman style graphics. [apple.com]
DEAD: Get Off Now!-Predictive GPS Alarm, 4.5 stars, FREE (was $0.99)--a nice GPS-based "you are about to arrive at your destination" alert program. [gofreeapp.com]
Instant Sketch, 3.5 stars but seems better to me, FREE (was 0.99--unusually nice photo-to-sketch converter. [gofreeapp.com]

Reminder: to be sure to find the free apps for the iPhone or iPad, you usually MUST specify ALL FORUMS in the upper left column after doing a basic search for "iPhone" or "iPad." Otherwise, you will miss any hot deals relegated to the "freebies" dungeon.
