Lowes has a sale on their 5x8 utility trailer. They are normally $728 at my neighborhood store, today they went on sale for $528. Price is good until 03.21.11

This may not be a nationwide sale but it is a heck of a deal. It's wonderful to have a trailer for spring clean up and the rest of the year too.

I picked mine up today. Check your local listings but here's mine...

I have this trailer and it is easily towed with a 4 cyl Honda Accord.

A 4x8 HF trailer does not = a 5x8 Lowes trailer. 5x8 trailers usually cost a lot more than a 4x8. OMG

this is a great deal on a trailer.
Would buy one, but we dont have a vehicle to tow it with. Biggest car we have is a camry. And putting a hitch on a 2-door 3 series bmw just wouldnt be right....
time to trade the camry for a small suv. (super SD effect!)
Haha! I love that the Camry is on the "chopping block" and not the BMW. woot

The uses for this seem somewhat limited with the mesh floor and short walls. Keep that in mind before you decide to haul a fridge with it.

Spend 20 bucks for a pack of decent ratcheting tie downs and the possibilities are endless!

Ugh, why do you all tempt me so much!!!! I borrow my in-laws trailer all the time, and could use this, but really don't need to spend $528 on something that I'll only use a few times a year.

Must... Fight.. Impulse.. to... Buy...

The ramp/back gate that this one has makes it great to haul those items that need tying down.

I took it to get compost for my spring garden and the guy charged me the same amount as the pick up trucks. I lined it with a tarp and according to his scale I actually got more pounds of crap than the pick up truck drivers.

I have looked at harborfreight but I don't do assembly. I like put together with welds. This is my second trailer and I LOVE IT.

I can take limbs to the green dump, I have gone and gotten a free load of gravel, I went and got two of the cast iron clothes line poles.... with cement still attached. Those are 1200 lbs PLUS.

I got my first trailer in April 2009. It was stolen in Oct 2010. We were already missing it so much we were going to pay full price if these didn't go on sale again... and Utah is covered in snow from Oct to March.

I have shopped. I am an SD person.

I love this trailer. I have/would buy it again.

Just went to look at these at my local place, they had them for 585. I printed out a list price from GA that was 495 and they said they would match it. The metal mesh is super flimsy so plan on getting some plywood planks for it.
I've decided to pick one up this weekend with a 10 percent off coupon

The Venza might be of interest(staying in the family and all)nod.

We 'almost' put a hitch on our Volvo C70 convertible...mostly for a bike rack but some extra cargo capacity would be nice from time to time. Guess that's what the XC60 is for.

Absolutely. I bought the 4x8 non-folding HF trailer and cannot haul sheet goods flat with sides on the trailer. The side supports eat into the 4 foot width ( which is marginal to begin with) so you have to place 4 x 8 building material at an angle.

If you plan on hauling plywood, drywall, rigid foam insulation, or any other 4 x 8 building material, this is definitely worth the expense over the HF trailer.
