Where was the first location and what was the price of the second location?
The first location is Westlake Village, CA. The other location my friend told me about in San Rafael, CA (about $199). And some other Costco (e.g. Alhambra) don't even carry it, according to my father.
Milkbone, you mentioned that one of the Kirkland brands the $70 one is made in France. Is that the older model or the newer one? Is it still available in Costco today?
My father purchased the Kirkland brand last year and it was made in China. His pot had cracked and end up returning it to Costco. I don't know much about the new one though.

My first dutch oven was a le creuset in a 2&3/4 quart on sale from the WS outlet. I had used it for everything from soups, cooking rice, sausages, baking bread, and much more. It finally had the enamel cracked inside this past month. Thank goodness for its lifetime warranty, they are replacing it for me. They don't make the 2&3/4 quart anymore, so they will be sending 3.5 quart to me. The only cost was shipping to Le Creuset of my damaged pot. But that was about $14. But I have heard that these Le Creuset pots are to last for a long long time. And people usually hand it down to the next generation and so on.
