I do not no much about specs of computers (i.e. Ram, Hard drive speed, Memory).

I do not plan on doing heavy gaming or running heavy software. My primary use is watching streaming sports games and browsing the internet.

I would like to have an HDMI port (and I do like other cool features as well ..but HDMI is a must).

I would like something with a good build and that will last. My current laptop is an HP which after about a year started making really loud noises when the hard drive was running and it also gets extremely hot.

I am willing to spend up to $900 (...not that i have to spend that much ).

Can someone point me to a good deal on a notebook?

Should I go with the HP Pavilion dv6t Quad Edition 15.6" Core i7 Sandy Bridge from yesterdays SD frontpage deal? ...should I go with this OP's deal? ...neither of these?

I see no where that this is unlocked! Most likely they will require a 2 year contract - look up the tablet on their site - they are just trying to unload these for $99 (I suspect because they are getting poor ratings).
