Actually mx11 is one of the sexiest mini beasts i have ever seen! Design resembles stealth jet fighter and i love it!

I think he meant "not sleek". I'm on mine right now and with a 4GB ram and an OCZ Vertex SSD, this little sucker is quick to boot and quiet. When you run at 40% bright, sound mute, intel vid, I get about 6 hrs of web surfing and work straight. Been running Trine, NFS Hot Pursuit, Split Second, and HD movies, no problem. This is a good price as I got mine refurb for about $80 less.
*I'd love to have a matte screen though, but the size/weight/performance are perfect. I've owned a few Dell Latitude D and E series. |

I just ordered the referb of this yesterday for $100 less after 15% coupon.
I convinced my two friends to buy this and now I have one. FYI there is a pin mod you can do to OC to 2.1GHz, requires soldering directly to the motherboard so not for the faint of heart. |

I also got a refurb for about $450 but this is a good deal for $550 new.
btw, C2D is the most useful version IMO. Great battery life in Intel mode and great for gaming in Nvidia mode. i5 and i7 versions of questionable advantage for those 2 uses. Also because you switch graphics mode manually, you don't have issues that auto switching models have. |
