Planet Earth(Attenborough) + Life(Winfrey) 8 disc bluray $40 + tax at Costco B&M

I was at costco yesterday and saw the Planet Earth + Life combo set for $39.99. I wasn't able to find it in their website but this set on amazon [amazon.com] seems to be the same set. It doesn't appear you can order this online, but for Costco members who don't happen to have these yet it seems like a really good deal. My mom picked it up and Winfrey isn't that bad after all.(I watched the British version myself.)

I prefer the 5 disc Planet Earth from Amazon.UK for $23 than the 4 disc Planet Earth + OPRAH version of Life for about $43 out the door.

After 2 episodes i couldn't take it anymore and downloaded an Attenborough's version. She's even worse than Sigourney Weaver's Planet Earth. Do your brain a favor and get the version with a real biologist doing the voiceovers. I imagine the next big discovery channel abomination will feature Lady Gaga as narrator.

I think it is tasteless to rejoice in the death of others, even Bin Laden! For us, 10 years, $1.3+ trillion, the patriot act, countless deaths of American soldiers and civilians.. Can one truly be happy at the chain of violence that has been perpetuated? IF it was necessary that Bin Laden die, then perhaps it would be better to accept the necessity with grim resolve rather than joyous celebration...

If it was both Attenborough, this would have been a killer deal for those who didn't already have either set
