I saw a bunch of the comments on their Facebook page. Some people weren't thrilled with the other contents of the mystery box, but they didn't complain about the Blu Ray players or say they were broken. So, it's an incomplete third hand report, but it's something...

A search of this blu ray player on slickdeals shows it sells out fast as this price. Reviews of the player are mixed but, on average, good [amazon.com]. Looks like internet connectivity ain't happening w/o a proprietary adapter.

I just ordered one for playing blu-ray disks. Thanks OP!

Loud buzzing noises and errors popping up saying call customer service. Fantastic.
